It does feel good. I grew up watching this special each year. My parents would make sure we were home to watch it.
I found out, via comments on my YouTube video, that there was a game based on this special for the Nintendo Wii and DS. It was apparently a collection of mini games and not very good so forget that crap. This is the first real game based on the holiday special, at least I think so.
Their keeping the original art style and such is just icing on the cake. A lot of people think it looks weird, it does, it is unique. I do not know of any other specials that looked like this.

It does! Hopefully this does well and we see more releases like this with other specials and one offs from back in the day. There are tons of them that could make fun games. Besides, there is not a lot of competition in the Christmas game category.
