I got my hands on the Pac-Man Tamagotchis! Here's how they start out.

I actually ordered two of them from GameStop: a yellow one and a black one each, each with case. The first one came, which was supposed to be the black one with case... it was a yellow one without the case. I was prepared to take it back to a GameStop store and see if I could get the correct thing, but the second one arrived the next day, and it was supposed to be the yellow one... but it was the black one! And had a case! I decided to cut my losses on the second case and just go with one case. I only really lost out on a dollar.

The toy is very cute. When you start them out, it plays the Pac-Man opening theme. I love it.

You can get either Shirobabytchi or Babytchi as your starting character, who then evolves into an adult after 24 hours. Very different from the traditional Tamagotchi toys which have a baby, child, teenager, and adult phase with the possibility of a secret adult as well.

Instead of raising a Pac-Man as a Tamagotchi (like how you raise Angels in the Evangelion Tamagotchi), Pac-Man instead helps you take care of your little guy; fore example, instead of pooping, these Tamagotchi get haunted by the ghosts from Pac-Man. You have to summon Pac-Man to chase them away! And if you let too many ghosts chase your Tamagotchi, it'll become overwhelmed by the 256 Glitch!

These releases are part of the Tamagotchi Nano line, which are more simplified Tamagotchi toys (they're also very small) so there's not a ton of functionality to them. But I'm still having a blast playing with them alongside my other Tamas.

I'm still looking for names for the two little guys. I was thinking Clyde and Sue, but those might be a little too obvious. Anyone have any recommendations?

(Also, this is my first video on 3Speak!)
