Halls Of Torment | Trying to survive a half hour [ENG - ESP]

Yesterday was a pretty boring day, I just wanted to lie in bed and do nothing else, I guess I should do more exercise to make my days more energetic and interesting. Still I decided to get out of bed and play Halls Of Torment for a while.

I already mentioned that I got to know this game thanks to @Pusen, someone who is quite advanced in this game and has made a lot of content about it. His content can help you quite a bit if you're planning to buy the game and jump right in. I personally only followed a couple of tips, but I haven't seen too much of the game so I experienced it all on my own.

The game itself is simple, you just have to move with the typical "W,A,S,D" or with your stick if you use control, and aim with the mouse or with the right stick. The attack can be done on your own and you can also activate the option to attack automatically. I personally preferred the automatic attack, since I don't want to screw up my mouse doing thousands and thousands of clicks. You also have automatic aiming which is an interesting option, at least I haven't used it, but I think it can come in handy in some situations where you just want to focus on dodging.

I have just spent almost 3 hours playing the game and I can say that those 3 hours have felt like 10 minutes. It's a game where you start your game and it grabs you completely, you don't want to stop, you don't want to die either. My first hour was only with my keyboard and mouse, but then I tried it with my Xbox controller and I liked the experience, I don't think I'll play it again with the keyboard. It did take me a couple of minutes to get used to the controller, but it was no big deal.

So far I have only been able to unlock 4 Heroes. These are unlocked by completing certain missions and objectives. Between the base hero (swordman), the archer and the cleric, so far I'm still sticking with the basic hero, it's the one I've endured the most. The Exterminator I could also unlock him and he is amazing, but the Swordman is still my favorite.

In my gameplay you can see me trying to survive thousands of enemies, trying to sneak through the waves to try to take as little damage as possible. I came close to sticking around for 30 minutes, but I was only able to survive 29:45.

You can activate the English subtitles. The translation may not be perfect, but I have tried to have a better pronunciation, although there are times when I can't help speaking fast.

There was a point in the game where I got scared of the amount of enemies on my screen, even my fps dropped a bit. The good thing is that after I died I was able to unlock the Cleric and decided to try it as well.

The Cleric has slow but powerful attacks, plus it can break the enemies' resistances, or at least I think so. With the Cleric I was able to survive for 16 minutes, it cost me more than with the Swordman. It could be said that my decisions were not the best, I should have chosen movement speed above all, since the Cleric is slow and not very resistant, so on several occasions the enemy was faster than me and took a good chunk of life from me.

At the moment I'm pretty much a noob at this game, but that's not that it really matters. I have to unlock the other heroes and improve my builds, but that will take some time, although as I mentioned before, time will probably fly by in this game. What do you think of this game? Would you buy it? See you in the next one my boomers.

I feel you man. I played for hours my first few days after getting the game and it felt like minutes. Glad to see you're enjoying it.

Thanks for showing us this game, it's really the best thing I've played these days.

I regret not buying this game during the Steam summer sale. I guess it wasn't on sale much, but it's still better than buying it now. The game looks fun, and I haven't tried Vampire Survivors, so I can't wait to get this kind of game.

I bought it an hour after the sales ended, it hurt my soul, but the price is worth it. You have to play it, believe me it's a dangerous game that grabs you for hours and makes them seem like minutes.

It's a very good game, you have to play it someday.
