➤ I think we've all heard about Left 4 Dead at some point in our lives when we talk about zombie games, and rightly so. The truth is that what this game has to offer is simply dazzling, even for its years of age. But above all, its second part, which I would say is infinitely better than the first installment.

➤ Left 4 Dead by itself has a story at first glance linear, we are a group of 4 people and we have to survive eternal waves of zombies and a lot of special zombies, until we reach a safe place and try to escape the area. But the story is not the important thing, if not how much fun it becomes.

➤ Left 4 Dead 2 really surprised me, I had never played it before, only the first one, and the difference is so much and it is really beautiful. First there are a lot of new campaigns, a slight improvement in graphics, new types of zombies, and above all, NEW WEAPONS. Including new weapons was something completely necessary.

➤ In the first game the truth is that I got tired and I found it completely boring to use the same 5 weapons and that practically all of them are the same. It's incredible the huge amount of weapons they implemented here, and my favorite being my precious AK-47, especially because its shooting mode reminds me a lot of CSGO. In fact most of the weapons are inspired by Counter Strike. There are even small upgrades for the weapons, such as lasersights or incendiary bullets.

➤ There are weapons of all kinds, and best of all, melee weapons. New types of shotguns, assault rifles, submachine guns, rifles, even a minigun and a fucking grenade launcher, bro. And the meele weapons are fun and cool, having everything from axes, machetes, katanas, frying pans, a fucking chainsaw and the legendary Half Life crowbar.

➤ The new zombie count is brutal, mostly special zombies. There is one that I hate the most that is a dwarf that jumps on you and doesn't let go until someone kills it, also one called Spitter that throws an acid and the charger, which is a zombie with a giant arm that stampedes you and grabs you until it kills you. Also the tank looks quite different, he got a tan.

➤ The incredible waves of zombies are amazing, they can appear more than 2 in a row, full of special infected and a lot of adrenaline. Only two things can happen, either you live, or you die and leave a huge trail of corpses.

➤ The gameplay is practically the same, the only thing that changes are the new sections, since obviously each weapon is used differently and there are also new grenades and new puzzles or objectives that we have to fulfill, without being so repetitive, as was the case before, which was usually activate a generator or something like that. Here we are even sent to bring refreshments to a guy who is locked in an armory, in order to continue advancing. Since this guy opens the way with a rocket launcher.

➤ Taking into account that it is a fairly old game the graphic section is really nice and above all comfortable, no more is needed to create a game of this nature, which makes it unique. It really is very pleasing to the eye and has a lot of fun physics. Fun is assured regardless of its graphic quality, we should all know that.

➤ This game can offer us many challenges, especially playing on the highest difficulty, which for me is in a way, almost impossible. With only 3 hits a zombie can kill us, considering that it is a common one. We may have to repeat a lot of times in a single map to achieve it, our death can be assured in many ways and we always have to be completely attentive. We never know when a Smoker will grab us.

➤ And best of all, it also brings the campaigns of the first game, so we can play them with all the new things that this installment offers us. But what really makes it fun?

➤ I think the most entertaining thing about Left 4 Dead is the simple fact of being able to play it with friends, it is its essence and what makes it a really good game than it already is, the moments of laughter that it will give us are incalculable, and I say this because I have lived it in the flesh. I highly recommend it to play with friends.

➤ Creo que todos alguna vez en nuestras vidas cuando hablamos de juegos de zombies hemos escuchado acerca de Left 4 Dead, y con mucha razón. La verdad que lo que este juego tiene para ofrecernos es sencillamente deslumbrante, incluso para sus años de antigüedad. Pero sobre todo, su segunda parte, que diría que es infinitamente mejor a la primera entrega.

➤ Left 4 Dead de por si cuenta con una historia a simple vista líneal, somos un grupo de 4 personas y tenemos que sobrevivir a oleadas eternas de zombies y mucha cantidad de zombies especiales, hasta llegar a un lugar seguro e intentar escapar de la zona. Pero la historia no es lo importante, si no lo divertido que llega a ser.

➤ Left 4 Dead 2 de verdad me sorprendió, nunca lo había jugado antes, solo al primero, y la diferencia es tanta y es realmente hermosa. Primero hay una gran cantidad de campañas nuevas, una ligera mejora en los gráficos, nuevos tipos de zombies, y sobre todo, NUEVAS ARMAS. Incluir nuevas armas era algo completamente necesario.

➤ En el primer juego la verdad me cansaba y me parecía completamente aburrido utilizar las mismas 5 armas y que prácticamente sean todas lo mismo. Es increíble la enorme cantidad de armas que implementaron acá, y mi favorita siendo mi preciada AK-47, sobre todo porque su modo de disparo me recuerda mucho al de CSGO. De hecho la mayoría de las armas están inspiradas en Counter Strike. Incluso existen pequeñas mejoras para las armas, como pueden ser miras lasers o balas incendiarias.

➤ Hay armas de todo tipo, y lo mejor, armas cuerpo a cuerpo. Nuevos tipos de escopetas, de rifles de asalto, de metralletas, de rifles, incluso una minigun y un jodido lanza granadas, hermano. Y las armas meele son divertidas y buenísimas, teniendo desde hachas, machetes, katanas, sartenes, una maldita motosierra y la legendaria palanca de Half Life.

➤ La nueva cantidad de zombies es brutal, mayormente zombies especiales. Hay uno que es el que más odio que es un enano que te salta encima y no te suelta hasta que alguien lo mata, también uno llamado Spitter que lanza un ácido y el charger, que es un zombie con un brazo gigante que te pega una estampida y te agarra hasta matarte. También el tank tiene un aspecto bastante distinto, se hizo un bronceado.

➤ Las increíbles oleadas de zombies son brutales, pueden aparecerte más de 2 seguidas, llena de infectados especiales y mucha adrenalina. Solo pueden ocurrir dos cosas, o vives, o mueres y dejas un rastro enorme de cadaveres.

➤ La jugabilidad es prácticamente la misma, lo único que cambia son los nuevos apartados, ya que obviamente cada arma se utiliza de forma distinta y también hay nuevas granadas y nuevos acertijos u objetivos que tenemos que cumplir, sin que sean tan repetivos, como ocurría antes, que normalmente era activar algún generador o alguna cosa así. Aquí incluso nos mandan a llevarle refrescos a un tipo que está encerrado en una armería, para poder seguir avanzando. Ya que este tipo abre el paso con un lanzacohetes.

➤ Teniendo en cuenta que es un juego bastante viejo el apartado gráfico es realmente bonito y sobre todo cómodo, no se necesita más para crear un juego de esta índole, lo que lo hace único. De verdad es muy agradable a la vista y cuenta con muchas físicas divertidas. La diversión está asegurada sin importar su calidad gráfica, eso todo deberíamos saberlo.

➤ Este juego puede ofrecernos muchos retos, sobre todo jugando en la máxima dificultad, que para mí resulta de cierta forma, casi imposible. Apenas con 3 golpes ya puede un zombie matarnos, teniendo en cuenta que sea uno común. Podemos tener que repetir montones de veces en un solo mapa para poder lograrlo, nuestra muerte puede estar asegurada de muchas formas y siempre hay que estar completamente atentos. Nunca sabemos cuándo un Smoker nos agarrara.

➤ Y lo mejor de todo es que también trae las campañas del primer juego, para poder jugarlas con todo lo nuevo que nos ofrece esta entrega. ¿Pero qué es lo que realmente lo hace divertido?

➤ Creo que lo más entretenido de Left 4 Dead es el simple hecho de poder jugarlo con amigos, es su esencia y lo que lo hace un juego realmente bueno de lo que ya es, los momentos de risa que nos dará son incalculables, y esto lo digo porque lo he vivido en carne propia. Lo recomiendo por completo para jugar con amigos.

¡Epa pero qué buen review! Yo nunca jugué el Left 4 Dead original, ya que mis amigos en la universidad ya conocían la 2da versión y me llevaron de una vez por el camino del mal; mi monstruo favorito de ese videojuego épico es la Witch, siento que siempre aparecía en un momento terrible y además, como yo soy músico, tengo unos audífonos envolventes que utilizo para mezclar y masterizar audio que cuando se trata de videojuegos hace que vivas la experiencia casi como si estuvieras dentro del juego, entonces te imaginarás mi terror al escuchar ese llanto y molestarla.
