Back in my day I loved these types of games. Up to the end of the Super Nintendo era, I was rocking side scrolling, and overhead scrolling, shooters like crazy. Nowadays, I am SOL on beating the first few levels of many of these games. Maybe it is just I don't have the focus to remember the enemy patterns after I experience them a few times, maybe my reflexes are shot, maybe I just suck at shooters now. Lol.
