Thank you. You are right, this is Fortnite. I clip the drop and keep about 30 seconds before the first elimination, enough for players to get their bearings on where I am on the map (no one wants to watch several minutes of me running around just looting for supplies).
I hate campers too. Especially the ones that camp throughout the whole game. What is the point of playing if you are going to just hide in a couple of spots and not do anything? It makes no sense to me. Camping waiting for an enemy, fine, but camping in some secret place that few know about just to be a jerk? Not cool to me.
I have gotten better with the sniper rifle, when they switched from energy beams to rounds that have weight, it threw me for a bit. I have been practicing a lot - that is why often there is what I call a warning shot. If they don't run out of range, I will get them. May take me a couple of rounds, may not be a headshot in the mix but I will often get them in the end. 🤣
I have played a few rounds where much better snipers have pinged me from on top of mountains so far away that they were a spec on the screen. Great shots, not hackers, they just are really good with knowing the limitations of that rifle and they always get me when I am camping on a building for better viewing angles so it is my fault too. 🤣
