Out There Ω Edition: Simulation of an adventure in the galaxy

in Hive Gaming2 years ago

Do you like "text-based" survival games or something that involves galactic mysteries? Then you should also try the Out There - Omega Edition game available for mobile devices with Android and iOS operating system created by the Mi-Clos Studio team

Everything takes place after you wake up in an unknown environment of the galaxy, everything is presented to you from organizing important resources to distributing gasoline and oxygen, I want to make it very clear that this is a difficult game at first and you can die countless times for simply running out of oxygen

First of all, a brief context of what is happening at the moment is presented, the graphic quality is quite acceptable, pulling for the digital cartoon style, highlighting the lighting effects of the planets and the interactions with it, from the tutorial you kind of already gets lost with no one pointing the way, it's more something to explore and try your luck at first.
All we get at first is just some oxygen and fuel in our ship inventory which can be updated as you progress through the game and also a fuel station so you can have a good amount before going on long trips and believe me, the game map game is extensive.

So far I only have two styles of ships available for travel, the one we received at the beginning and one that is more of a "life insurance" since we received it after almost dying, it is smaller and we only have 3 blocks available in the inventory and two of them are reserved for technologies, and speaking of technology you need to manage that too, your ship can't be full of machines without space for survival resources, just as it can't be full of survival resources without technology, you would simply die in orbit.
For now the focus is to use the probe for planets that contain gas, they give you oxygen, carbon and other derivatives, while on planets with ores you should use the drill to collect ores for the purpose repairs on your ship or some damaged technology (yes on top of that they can be damaged on the voyage, and you don't want to be without your telescope near some nebulous planet).

As is to be expected in any text based RPG, events randomly happen that you have to think about and choose from the available options, depending on your actions you can find new technologies, new friendships or even stop near a better abandoned ship with too many resources, or simply getting lost in space, encountering enemies from mars or damaging your ship so much that you simply won't understand anything when your escape pod is triggered, and then my friend just restart the game or sail around the galaxy aimlessly.

And I, with my countless deaths, have some tips for those who are going to test the game:
Don't stay too far from the fuel station at the beginning - This is due to the fact that you don't have a good stock of fuel at first, and you can only carry 20 in each inventory slot, it is recommended that for trips exploration and gathering you have at least 3 or 4 full spaces of fuel.
Replenish oxygen only on planets - Some planets that have life on them restore their oxygen to the maximum, and it can still be collected through the probe tool, but it is a scarce resource to collect, you may have a chance to collect a space inventory on a single planet or simply your probe being damaged by collecting just 5.
Destroy unused technologies - At first we started with almost all of them, although we only use half, check the solar stars and planets nearby and what tool/technology you will be using at that time, and then disassemble the rest and save the parts for renovate your ship or create the technology/tool in the future.
After dying and starting a new game look for your ship - Even after starting a new game your old ship is available on the map, although destroyed and with half of the resources as before, the areas of the ships graveyard is located with an exclamation point (!).

I recommend this game for those who like the genre, although it has a high difficulty it supports many languages and nothing that some deaths and tips contained in the game won't help you stay alive in its next incarnations.

Even though I rarely enjoy turn based games this one seems pretty cool. I've been nerding out Slay the Spire lately on my phone. It's my favorite game as of late. Can't stop playing.

Slay the Spire is a great turn-based game, I thought it was only available for PC through Steam, I'll check out that mobile version, thanks.

It looks pretty good, I think the fact that the difficulty is something that generates me quite interested, plus it looks like a good offline game that has a cool aesthetic. I don't usually play much on my phone but lately, I'm liking to have some game that I can play in my free time when I want to be away from the PC, I'll try it and see how it goes, thanks a lot for bringing it dude!

I should correct the mobile part, it is also available for PC through Steam, although it has the same gameplay and graphics, it is a very interesting game and the content to be discovered is surprising, maybe if I had recorded it I would be able to convey the emotion better, thanks to read
