Succulent Plant: Orbea Semota Lutea. 🌵

Plant that is very popular both in nurseries and in private gardens for the beauty of its flower, it is similar to a star, greenish yellow, which is born in the lower part of the newest stems of the plant, it is the plant known as: Orbea Semota Lutea.

The open flower measures approximately 6 cm in diameter, 5 segments surrounded by minimal hairs that can barely be seen, in the center of the flowers can be seen a ring, rounded paler color, in the center of the ring, can be seen as a small crown of reddish brown.

Its stem is green, can measure approximately 10 centimeters long, can grow slightly curved or erect.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • They should be in places where they receive at least 6 hours of illumination. Preferably in the morning hours since the sun's rays at midday produce burns to the plant. Remember that the plant in the shade does not produce flowers.
  • Use a healthy substrate to avoid fungus attacks to the plant.
    When the substrate is dry it is time to water.
  • Be alert, they can be attacked by fungi, aphids and ants. It is essential to maintain control.
  • They reproduce easily, just place the cutting horizontally on the substrate to obtain a plant.
