well here we have the new space i made in my yard by making a rock outlined raised bed at the back of my house. i filled it with tomato's and pepper plants. Tomatos are by far one of my favourite to grow as not only are they super easy to grow but they yield well and have many uses. I skin and freeze lots to use for soups later, but i also make lots into salsa to can and home made pizza sauce aswell as just canned tomato paste to use later to make tomato soups etc as a way to cut down how much freezer space i use. Fun fact here, there is over 10 000 varieties of tomato's. I personally only grow tumblers. bumble bee. roma. primo red, big beef, beefsteak and tiny tims. another fun thing about tomatos is there are easy to grow indoors over winter, simply cut the top off a plant, toss it in dirt and water it well and they clone easy and will grow all winter in a large pot with a cheap grow light and simply use a small paint brush to manually pollinate them it onle takes a few minutes.
