Garden Tour
My garden and neighbourhood look cheerful and colourful these days. We finished this year's first lawn mowing today because it's growing very well. The smell of cut grass refreshes me. Many flowers and plants are blooming healthily. I noticed many white flowers in my garden and neighbourhood. There are some vivid colours like pink, purple, and yellow as well.
This is the red elderberry in my garden. It will make beautiful small berries someday soon.
These are wild strawberry flowers. I can't wait to eat strawberries.
I am so glad that my wild cherry tree is recovering from the damage. We didn't have any fruit last year. Hopefully, there will be many fruits for the birds this year.
These are coltsfoot cotton. They look very fluffy and beautiful. My dog loves to sniff them on the street.
This is also a mini version of the wild cherry tree in the field near my house. We were sad to witness the cutting of almost all trees, bushes, and more on this field for building cottages.
We could pick blackberries from this field until a few years ago. Unfortunately, a truck cut all of them down last year. My dog loved to pick them up with us. We also have blackberries in our garden, but it was fun to pick them here. However, I noticed that there are some wild cherry trees like this.
This is an apple tree flower. We didn't have enough apples on the tree last year. I was glad to see apple flowers like this.
This tree is a plum family. I found out that an ant nest was attached to this tree last year. I dug it out and witnessed its recovery. I am glad that it made flowers again this spring.
These are moss pink (mountain phlox). I love these flowers because they are some of my grandmother's favourites. She took care of the white and pink ones in her garden. They look like a carpet, which is called Shibazakura in Japanese. Literally, Shibazakura (芝桜) means lawn cherry. I love to see Ume and Sakura in trees and Shibazakura on the ground.

庭ツアー
我が家の庭と近所には元気で色鮮やかな景色が広がっています。かなり伸びてきたので、今年初の芝刈りを終えたところです。刈りたての草のにおいはとてもいい香りです。花が満開で元気そうで。うちの庭も近所の野原も白い花が目立ちますが、ビビットな色合いのピンク、黄色や紫の花も咲いています。
これはうちの庭に咲くセイヨウアカミニワトコです。もう時期きれいな実がなります。
これは野いちごの花です。食べるのが待ち遠しいです。
セイヨウウミザクラが去年のダメージから回復しているのが嬉しいです。鳥たちが好きな実がたくさんなって欲しいです。
これはフキたんぽぽの綿毛です。ふわふわでとても綺麗です。私の犬は道端で綿毛をチェックするのが好きです。
近所の野原に咲いているこれもまたセイヨウウミザクラの木です。この野原はコテージが建つということでほとんど全ての草木が刈り取られてしまい、残念で悲しかったです。
数年前まではブラックベリーをつむことができたのですが、トラックが全て刈り取ってしまったのでできなくなりました。愛犬もいっしょにブラックベリーをとって楽しんでいました。家にもブラックベリーはなるのですが、ここも楽しい場所だったので寂しいです。でも、こうして草木が蘇っているのを見ると嬉しいです。
これはりんごの花です。去年はりんごの花もかなり少なかったので、今年はこうして見ることができて嬉しいです。
これもスモモ属です。去年はアリの巣が攻撃していてダメージが酷かったです。アリの巣を掘り出してなんとか回復を願っていたので、こうしてまた春に花が咲いてくれて嬉しいです。
これは芝桜です。芝桜は祖母の好きな花の一つなので、私も好きです。祖母は白とピンクの芝桜を庭で育てていました。芝桜はカーペットのようにふわふわで好きです。梅や桜の花の下には芝桜があると最高です。

I was not expecting that Canada can be as beautiful like this, the only thing which we were told was snow.
Hahaha... Yes, winter is very cold, and there is just snow everywhere. After the long winter, we have a heavenly natural environment. I always miss this precious moment during winter.
