RE: Garden Update - Day 51

I can't believe how good it all looks! And you're getting fruits already! Especially that eggplant - mine are wimpy wimpy wimpy. I've taken some inspiration from you regarding pH, and watered my eggplant with water with a little vinegar in it yesterday. They hadn't grown at all, and were a tad yellowish. But both my peppers and eggplant have not been attacked by tiny black beetles this year, and the peppers have blossoms, so I'm hopeful this year will be better than my pathetic last year. Hey, picking stuff small just causes the plant to produce even more, so consider harvesting the pepper and squash soon. Beat the neighbors to it!

Thank you @owasco!

I'm hopeful you'll get some stronger eggplant. I don't know how to measure one way or another if an eggplant is a good size and healthy because I have no experience growing them before, same with the squash!

Hopefully the vinegar will help for your pH adjustment and will do the trick, and that vinegar will probably keep those flies away is my guess.

That's a good tip about picking stuff early to promote more production. The small pepper is looking like it might be rotting or something might have got inside of it, not sure but the pepper plants in the back are gaining some decent size so hopefully there will be more.
