A new look with a new set up - renovating the small garden at my native - personalized approach to this new set up, emphasizing high level of care and attention to detail.

Building a garden takes years and after almost five years, I decided to give a new look to the small garden at my native, that would bring some positive vibes on my parents. Even though Mom dissuaded me to not do anything considering their age, I think it in the opposite way, in a more positive way - a better environment will always have positive impact - Happiness can add years to their age - it's just a little more work for me, which I am happy to do for them.

So in the first phase, I have included fifteen small pots, as the place where they are kept is not big enough. We have a lot of space in the roof top, but then going everyday and watering plants would be a burden for Mom. So here she or house help lady can water easily. I have to keep these very important facts in mind because Mom can't do anything else other than watering them in a while. Given that, she has asthma, Winter is the most painful time for her, so I don't want to put any burden on her.

In the interest of saving time, I had these pots half filled with soil and took all the saplings from my place. I had five Chrysanthemum saplings grown on a grow bag specifically for my native, so that I could carry them easily. And then these french inca saplings were being grown on couple of big pots. The car was fully loaded with plants when I went and our security guy was a bit surprised to observe that and ask details out of curiosity - I have another home to take care, hence all this and that takes higher precedence. It took couple of half day's hard work to complete this new set up and I was very happy to see the final outcome - it's a small set up but looks nice.

During my stay, I took them to the roof top, so that they can get enough sunshine to grow better. Uplifting them and again bringing back before I came, was certainly a lot of work, but I always emphasize on high level of care and attention to detail - may be just an habit that I can't get rid of, even though it is more work. At the end all that matters is self satisfaction - I have a strong affinity for plants and will always do what I can.

And Dad loves this new set up, he often goes and stand there, watching them closely, though he does not say anything. I can sense his happiness from his expressions - that look says it all. I had to take him to submit his life certificate, more to come on that......And of course some update on football....

Now all your plants are looking more systematic! 🪴
The most beneficial addition to my garden was switching completely to organic fertilizers and no pesticides. I have noticed a change in the growth of plants and vegetables so I know this addition is really amazing.🌿

Yes, this is a small new set up at my native. Using organic fertilizers has long term benefit of preserving the soil quality, I never use chemicals as well.

Even though it's small, it's still beautiful to the eye

I really enjoyed reading this. It’s amazing how much love and effort you put into fixing up the garden for your parents. Even though it wasn’t easy, the way you kept going shows how much you care.

Lovely and so beautiful

I always admire people who keeps garden because I have learnt that it is not always easy

Your plants look good but what if they grow bigger than that? Will the pots still be able to carry the plants or you’d have to change it?

What happens when they need to access that rolling door? Are they going to make you move it again?

They will move few pots down for a while, creating a small passage. It's defunct timber factory.

Ah, okay!

Wow so you have been building the garden for almost five years, that is a lot of work and dedication.
Well done

I also like planting these kinds of plants a lot. Even though I live abroad, I still plant a few plants in pots in front of my room because they bring a different kind of peace to my mind.

You always put a lot of effort and love in your garden, it's admirable!

My most beneficial addition was the onions, for us!

Aw you are so kind to your parents. They must really appreciate it.

a better environment will always have positive impact

I can't agree more.

Of course, gardening involves incredible work and, at the same time, a precise level of detail so that the plants can grow as beautifully as possible, and of course, that small change will do your parents good, of that there is no doubt.

This is truly heartwarming.Designing the garden with your parents’ comfort and happiness in mind shows that you put in not just effort, but also love and care. It feels like this garden will truly become a little paradise full of joy for them.

You can really feel the care and intention you put into this garden especially knowing you did it to bring joy and comfort to your parents. The new arrangement looks clean organized and full of life. Sometimes even small pots can create the biggest positive vibe in a home.

Renovating the garden whenever possible is an excellent idea, but in my case I much prefer fruit trees because we can obtain food that benefits us greatly. However, having potted flowers, as in your case, is also an opportunity that should be taken advantage of

5 years of creating a garden like that is a long process, not only for yourself but also for your parents.

Designing the garden can be fun. I actually hoped I have learned landscaping. I knew someone who is deaf and he's good at landscaping.

I'd love something more flowery. It would be great in different colors.

I love how you try everything possible to make your parents happy and I can see the Joy on your Dad's face too 😊 and is a good idea that the house help to water the plants since she's having asthma. Is a lovely thing to see you are always there for them
