Making Some Changes In The Garden!
It Is Time!
Well this was sort of a in the moment decision that we made, I mean we did plan it because we removed some bushes from the garden to make way for grass, but we never really thought about planting grass. We sort of just winged it and hoped the grass would grow slowly and cover the open patches!
Look at me saying it was open patches! I mean we had patches of grass!
We quickly realized that it would take quite some time for the grass to cover all the open ground.

So in that moments notice and rush we decided to stop next to the road where they were selling grass and buy a whole bunch of rolls.
After getting the grass we decided to get some compost as well and make sure that the grass indeeds grows! I mean no use going through all that effort and it just dies on us right? We also got some grass food named "Kaan" not sure what exactly it's called in english!
I wasn't exactly fond of stacking the rear end of my car full of that stuff but I had no choice really...

Well That Took Some Effort!
Damn this was a grafting and a grinding to get this to the point it is now and I haven't even begun placing the grass!
No doubt the hard work will pay off, maybe not today but in due time it will!

The Realization!
We quickly realized that we might not have gotten enough grass, a simple mistake.
So the next day we went out to get some more, the grass we got the second time around looked much much better than the first batch. It was bought at a different place but no worries once it's starting to set in the ground it will quickly restore to a good condition.
Just have to keep watering it!

Before we sprung into action with the rest of the grass laying I decided to grill us up some good meat!
After that it's back to grinding!

All Set And Done!
It looks a little rough at the edges but that will sort it self out as the grass sets in and I think the main thing is that we need to give it a lot of love still!
It will also require some adding of dirt at some low spots, which I did plan for anyways so it's not the biggest deal to say the least!
Now it's to start cleaning up everything and wet it properly for the next few days to come!

This was done quite some time ago, about 6 weeks maybe even more. Now I don't have a current photo of how it looks now, but I can say the grass really set in nicely! But by the time we get back home we will have to cut it again! I'll share a quick photo when the time comes!
