RE: Ténicas de Negociación [ESP-ENG] Negotiation Techniques

When it comes to negotiation, there are all sorts of different techniques you can use to try to get the best possible outcome. But at the end of the day, there are really only two types of negotiation: distributive and integrative.

Distributive negotiation is all about trying to get the biggest piece of the pie. Each side is trying to get the most they can, and there is usually only one winner. This is the most common type of negotiation, and it's often used in situations where there is a limited amount of resources.

On the other hand, integrative negotiation is about finding a solution that is a win-win for both sides. Both sides are trying to come to an agreement that is mutually beneficial. This type of negotiation is often used in situations where both sides have something to offer.

Well, I can I say I have been involved in many distributive cases, and I have left the table and no deal have been reached. No body got nothing, no piece of cake for anybody.
Everybody return home with empty hands... to many times.
I draw my line, if the other party asks beyond that line, no negotiation is possible. No winner, all loosers...

I think if all the parts go to the negotiaton table open to possibilities, something wil happen for sure. If they go closed to other ideas, nothing will happen.

If you are strong enough to impose your position, or too weak to defend your position, why would you go to negotiate?
