     Southeast Asia is the land of smiles, and that's why I don't think this is the first challenge revolving around the beautiful smiles of Southeast Asia. On a daily basis in Southeast Asia, most of us encounter several smiling or friendly faces whether we are in the village or out running errands. I can't say the same for life here in the USA, and the faces are probably the number one thing I miss from my real home in Cambodia.

     After nearly 6 months in the USA, my wife and daughters all agree the most difficult thing is making friends and starting a conversation with someone. We definitely feel friends and family members keeping a distance from us because we are poor and could easily become a burden I guess, but I've never felt this in Southeast Asia outside of Singapore. Smiles are what makes Southeast Asia so livable, so please find some smiles for this challenge and tell me all about the people behind them.
