April 20th, 2024I should first apologize for this raffle post being extremely late, but better late than never I guess. My wife and kids have been on vacation for over a week, but I stayed home to catch up on cleaning and other chores that were long overdue. This has all combined to put me behind schedule for curation and posts, but don't worry, my priority is ASEAN Hive. I just noticed that I haven't posted from my personal blog for 22 days, that's nearly a record, so I hope to find time to post again because I miss writing very much.
This week I noticed @suteru upped his delegation to a whopping 500 HP, jumping from the SILVERs into the GOLD VIP zone, very impressive. Not to be left out was @shawnnft, who came onboard as a new delegator with a 100 HP delegation, earning himself a SILVER title in the process. There may or not be some other delegation news that I have overlooked, but for the HiveSQL is still working correctly, and this makes it more difficult to pull info and stats from this blockchain.
One thing is for sure, I can't imagine the success of ASEAN Hive without our delegators, and without a doubt the nearly 40,000 HP provided by my wife and I is not enough to lure content creators to our little nook on Hive. You all make my job an enjoyable one, and much more than the modest salary I have recently began taking, I enjoy knowing how many families and lives that a HIVE income helps to support. I feel as though many of you know me better than my IRL friends that I hardly ever get to see. Alright, enough rambling, let's just see this week's big winners......

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 169,815, and total delegated HP is 155,318 HP (118,625 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
