I am still in the USA at this time, and doing everything I can to open a door for my return to Cambodia. The two previous ways I could've secured a long-term visa no longer exist, and now I find myself with a ticket to Cambodia, leaving in 20 days, and so far I'll only be able to spend two months with my family before I have to leave Cambodia. Somehow I feel Suriname was just the beginning, and I can't explain why a feeling of negativity has swept over me, but I somehow feel I won't be reunited with my family any time soon.
Anyhow, this community keeps me connected with SE Asia, and I am thankful for that. I found three posts this week that deserve a bigger payout, so I want to share them with you all. The post's authors are all ASEAN Hive legends, but even veteran ASEAN Hivers sometimes have posts that fall through the cracks. @yoieuqudniram shared a walk through an iris patch as she pondered her hopes of a salary increase this year, @sarimanok performed a check on her garden before hitting the road, and @luueetang took us on a walkthrough of a home and decor store in Miri, Malaysia.

I had A Long Wednesday Walk, It Made ME Smile

Before leaving the house, I have the habit of checking and clearing the things around including my garden! I transferred some of the pots at an open space so that it will be wet when the rain comes.
A Trip To KAISON - Cuteness Overload
by: @luueetang(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) KAISON - The first in Miri sells mostly home furnishing and decor related items. Everywhere there is thinking "TAKE MY MONEY". The huge store layout. Lots and lots of stuff to choose from. One of the things my wife was pretty excited about are the cat mats but unfortunately, there were too many people queing up to pay, so we did not get anything on this trip. We'll wait for crowd to fade first in a month.

It has been tougher than usual lately, but this community has actually been a great distraction from the stresses of life. It's also a great task to occupy me when I feel uninspired to make content. Thanks for keeping up the engagement and encouraging your fellow ASEAN Hivers.
