I am supposed to write this post on Saturday as part of ASEAN Community last week's challenge. But life got in the way. Some of my fellow Malaysians might have posted about Malaysia's 15th General Election on Saturday, 19 November.
Days after the tight election race and the endless turmoil surrounding it, the King finally appointed Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia. He is scheduled to be sworn in as the PM at the palace at 5PM today.
I am so happy and thankful for this turn of events. After days of uncertainties and continuous political instability, we finally have a leader who can steer the nation toward a better future.
Many people disagree with the King's choice, but we must accept his decision. Please give DSAI a chance to lead the country. He might be able to do a better job than his previous predecessors. And he has a HUGE task ahead of him - trillions of nation's debts, the fallout of the pandemic, the bad economy, the falling MYR rates, and many more. So yeah, the King can't please everyone but we must accept his choice.
Congratulations Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. After decades of a turbulent political career, you finally clinch the top post 👏

The theme for that challenge was Favorite Restaurant and I was supposed to share about Fish & Co. Anyway, I had to miss it and here are some pictures taken on the day I dined there.
