All Hail Mother Parker

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY2 years ago (edited)

Malaysian driving attitude is one kind. Not trying to match with the country of the USSR, where a Lada can knock an army truck off its track. But it's safely said to be one of the moronic and idiotic of its own kind. Today I'm going to talk about the parking portion, so please stroll down and enjoy the show. I will use picture on top, caption at the bottom layout for the rest of the post.

First I would like to inform @justinparke that post I was actually making a sarcastic comment. I did not change to a Camry as I'm happy with my little car. Not only a Camry likes to park their car at the middle of pedestrian walk path, even a Honda SUV does the same kind of shit.

Having a hatchback car can safely assume there will be enough parking space since the car has got a shorter tail. However, these genius can still park like their car has a trailer.

I'm not just saying, the car park is literally empty, but still these mother parker still having trouble trying to park their car into the box.

So we had a Camry the other day, and the above I think it's a CRV and a Yaris. If you think the outrageously fancy mother parking skills only applicable to Japanese car, then you're wrong. It apply to all sorts of cars. The KIA K3 does exactly the same, by blocking the pedestrian walk.

Oh and you know, the police decided to park their motorcycles right at the bus stop lane. It's so nice that they even put the cone there to alert the bus drivers their bike is there, so the bus can safely navigate into the stop box. Which is a brilliant.

Oh and the designated motorcycle parking place is actually right behind the pedestrian walk. Which is a huge inconvenient for the police to park at the designated parking place because that will make them walk too far to the parking place and wasted on their extra digestion to their donuts.

Behind the motorcycle parking, is actually the Subway. When you have a superbike, it's only worth head turning when you can park it right Infront of the shop, rather than the designated parking. It's so parking beautiful bike, will be a total parking waste when you park the parking beautiful bike at the bike parking place.

After I packed my favourite sandwich, more people pouring into the Subway. And here's another beautiful continental car park right behind of the superbike. Once again, it worth the head turning and for the convenient. Imagine you spent couple hundred thousands to purchase a luxury car, where would you park the car? Ofcourse by the street! Would be a waste parking in the humble designated car park.

Some part of the community park does put out signboards to inform other mother parker to not park their parking car at the pedestrian walk. And still, these mother parkers got the BOSS. Well, balls of stainless steel. They ditch the car at the middle of the road.

And when you have a truck with big enough wheels, you can also park at these place as well. These are supposed to be designated truck parking. It's a waste for people to walk on them. The humans can walk at the road side.

Well, this is only 1 morning. Everything was captured within 15 minutes whilst I'm on my way back from my morning workout. This show you how mother parking amazing we Malaysian parkers are. I can do more, but I feel like I'm about to have a heart attack keep on writing this parking piece of article.

I think Cambodians have been down in Malaysia teaching parking skills, haha. I didn't even notice the poorly parked Camry the other day, so used to the wild west of Cambodia, where even people park in the middle of two-lane highways. There are actually signs at the license branches here depicting the dangers of parking a car in middle of a double-yellow line. You think it would be common sense, but you can't always expect that from my fellow humans here, especially when most drivers are unlicensed and untrained.
