Army Museum N9 - part 1

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY2 days ago (edited)

Negeri Sembilan is one of the most significant military base in Malaysia. Their TUDM, also known as Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia, in English RAFM Royal Air Force Malaysia is situated right here at Port Dickson.

Currently, Malaysia houses a feelt of Russian Mig 29, SU-35, and the well known American F18. Famous fighter pilot YouTuber Gonkey was once deployed here as F18 instructor, probably once in a lift time deal to have a head to head with the MIGs in an F18 for a demonstration role 😂

Since we're in the war museum, therefore the above 2 paragraphs, we have none of that 😂 entrance fee was quite reasonable RM2, and that's like less than 50¢ in American dollar. We get to see, a lot of earlier motorcycles that our local mavericks ride them between towns to buy cigarettes or condoms... Or both. Beer is strictly prohibited though. If the soldiers wanna drink beer, they need to do it OUT of the barracks, so these motorcycles are required.

One of my main agenda is to actually see some military fighter jets. After walked into the main building, at the courtyard immediately came to my eyesight is the beautiful Sikorsky S61A - call sign Sea King and later renamed as Nuri 😂 what a beautiful girl.

Immediately on the right, I can see some American jet. The shape suggested it should be an A4(later to confirm). There's this monument tower at the right side of the courtyard, which later we're gonna pay a visit.

The older history of Malaysia is, this is originally Tanah Malayu, direct translated as Malay Land. As early as 40000 years ago, human started their life in this land.

This place was later dominated by Srivijaya in the 12th to 13th century, and later by Majapahit in the 13th and 14th century before the powerful Sultan of Malacca taken over.

Seriously, I cannot imagine how to live a full life without an Android device, but I guess there's a medicine to each sickness 😂 perhaps, that's how the earlier generations people keep making babies with their free time.

Ok the missus is doing the teacher style tour guide, junior is ignoring her by pretending to take photo of everything whilst chatting with her BFF over the phone.

Say what we want to say, be it how good our martial art skills, when comes to weapon, this ends every flesh punching fighting skill. In the 1511, when Portuguese set their foot on this land, I imagine thousands of Wira (hero) flooded the sea with their blood.

The list of Portuguese governors from 1511 until 1641. That marks the beginning of Europe colonisation of this piece of land.

Local sultan came to agreement of the colonisation.

Portrayal of assassination of James Woodford Wheeler Birch. There's a story behind this assassination in my home town, I will make a translation on that later date.

This is the story in Bahasa. I will make a human translation later. For now you can AI or Google lens it first.

The retired UN truck, brings back a lot of memories when I was in the Africa.

The extinct Malayan tiger.

Formation of the early Malay police.

Mostly English weapon we use.

Every year, last day of August is our Merdeka Day(independence day), we will be able to watch a lengthy army parade.

The earlier English hybrid Malay style barracks.

Instead of Humvee, we have Mercedes light weight army truck for artillery. More on next episode. To be continue.

Yes it is. It's situated at the military base. These are retired machines. I am about to finish the writings, suddenly I have adhoc work to do, so I'm gonna finish the write up soon.
