There's this indoor museum that introduced to the series of director general of the past. I did took pictures of all of them, it will be sad to not properly disclose each individual stories as we should respect their services in the past. However, if I dig into each individual DG history, then I will be writing memoirs for all 11 DGs, which will drag this war museum visit to become Startrek TNG.

So, let's get on with some of these DGs, their nostalgic rides. The first DG and the most recent one will be covered. The rest, I really need to sit down and think whether should I make a grandfather story about them. So, here we go.
Mejar Jeneral Tan Sri Dato' Sir Frank Hastings Brooke

Pardon on the Malaysian made plague, that even changed the middle name for the general 🤪 From here, I'm gonna leave AI do the explanation work.
Major General Frank Hastings Brooke (18 March 1909 – 25 January 1982) was a British Army officer notable for his service as the first Chief of the Army and Chief of Defence Forces of the Federation of Malaya (now Malaysia).
Brooke had a distinguished military career. He served in the North-West Frontier Province before World War II and earned a Distinguished Service Order (DSO). During the Second World War, he commanded a battalion during the Normandy landings and received the U.S. Bronze Star Medal. He became the General Officer Commanding the Federation of Malaya Army in 1956. After Malaya's independence, he was promoted to major general and held the top defence posts until 1959. He retired from the British Army in 1969.
For more details on his career and the full list of his awards, including the Companion of the Order of the Bath (CB), Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), Distinguished Service Order (DSO), Commander of the Order of the Defender of the Realm (PMN) from Malaysia, and the Bronze Star Medal (BSM) from the United States, you can refer to Wikipedia.

The story goes with, communist supposed to kick the invaders out, unfortunately it didn't happen. Since the peace deal being negotiated and agreed, next thing is some of the famous communist flee the country or to avoid being captured for 150k. Back then, the Malaya Dollar is about the same $ to £. I wonder who determine such high price for a wanted profile and who is going to pay for it? 🤪

Alternative to the Suzuki Jimny light weight career, is this Korean version of KIA Willys. Seriously, Malaysian are well known for their superstition, we remove 4, 14, 24 and almost every 4th in every numbering aspect because in Cantonese 4 rhymes with 死, it means death. I wonder if they consider the abbreviation of KIA has a hidden meaning to it? Moreover, this to be used in the army?

A little specification of the little Willys. 60 horse power? Was it on the wheel? Or on crank? With a top speed of 105 kilometers to the hour, I am not so sure what to react. But it's definitely a good looking mini truck. I imagine to put a small block 350 to it and make it a sleeper drag monster 🤪

The legendary Honda Goldwing police bike where many of our young punk imagine one day when we grow up, we would like to be a pulis men so we can enjoy such a touring bike.

Well, that dream were short lift as we figured there's only limited unit of Goldwings and specifically for motorcade and pulis escort service. Why do I spell wrong? Well, that's how the locals pronounce it, "u notti sumore? Later I ask pulisman ketch jiu" 🤣

Nevertheless, the Honda Goldwing is still one of the very desirable touring bike of many middle-aged and old aged boys 🤪 my dad in law still yelling one day he's gonna take a ride on that radical super bike for a publicity tour!

The current Chief of Army (Malay: Panglima Tentera Darat — PTD) is General Datuk Muhammad Hafizuddeain bin Jantan, who succeeded General Tan Sri Mohammad Ab Rahman on September 6, 2023, who was also appointed the new Chief of Defence Forces (Malaysia) on the same day.

Junior is getting ready to check out the paratrooper career propeller plane. It's very convenient to have a staircase standing by the door.

Oh well, it's locked. No chance to go in the plane. You can see it from his disappointing face.

Since the home minister and dotter went to the office, as other female public washrooms are closed. Me and junior went to explore the tunnel used by the communist party for escape route and under ground control.

This is the part it showcasing how an underground control room looks like.

Part of the tunnel has been blocked. Based on my poor directional awareness, this end should lead us back to one of the museum tower, but I could(certainly) be wrong.

Sick bay is kinda scary with such a few pale face mannequins 😂 I almost scream like a sissy girl when I took a turn and bump into this scene.

Weapon's rack that was being edged into the wall is a convenient way for soldiers to quickly pick one from the wall and then head out and shoot some duck.

There is no living quarters like Stratrek enterprise. Perhaps a caved in unit will be very convenient for the soldier to lay himself down and take a rest.

Coming out from the tunnel, lead us straight back to the entrance. There's several retired train containers. Well, there's a lot more ancient train coach on display in Malacca, we will check back again next time.

Anti air craft guns that was bring left under the open weather to rot.

I wanted to see the cockpit of the BAE 208, too bad it was set on a very steep angle display. It's quite impossible for me to not fall off the edge if I ever try to climb there.

And here's the frontal view of the Caribou short take off short landing transport aircraft.

If you like these sorts of museums you would proabably really enjoy some of the ones they have in Vietnam. There are a lot of them all over the place mostly from the war with USA. The tunnel systems and bunkers are just unreal.
Oh yes. I definitely enjoy going through all these relic weapon. The reason I care is because it's relate to this country I was born. Also, the Skyhawks we purchased was 88 units of used fighter jets from the Merican, only about 40 of them flown again 😅 lesson learned, don't buy second hand war planes. Matter of fact, don't buy discontinued war planes 😅

In the original Top Gun (1986) movie, the character Jester (played by Michael Ironside) flies a Douglas A-4 Skyhawk.
Jester, along with the other TOPGUN instructors like Viper, used the A-4 Skyhawk as an "aggressor" aircraft to simulate enemy MiG fighters during training exercises against the student pilots in their F-14 Tomcats. The A-4 was chosen in real life by the Navy's Fighter Weapons School (NFWS) for this role due to its nimble performance and the fact that it was readily available as older models were being decommissioned.
In the film, the A-4s were painted in a camouflage scheme or a flat black to represent the fictional "MiG-28" enemy aircraft.
I had no idea that the mig was a fake plane. I guess they didn't want to insult anyone.
Oh no. Back in the 80s before NATO was fully formed with the eastern Europe who largely has a collection of MIGs, even the Merican don't have access to any of those USSR fighter jets. So, naturally the navy will have to "make do" with whatever they have in hand, to simulate the USSR fighters.
It's different these days. Especially in my home country, a unique experience when the air force houses both Russian and US technologies at the same time. Here I found the Gonky YouTube where he was posting as a fighter pilot instructor for the royal air force, he has a chance to go head to head with the SU30 Russian multi role fighter in an older version of F/A18. It's like fighting real life super Mario Bowser but you know you're in a safe practice environment.
Wow this place looks cool
I think we have similar story in history about colonialism
And i understand the Melayu Language since it almost similar with my language.
