It all felt like lightning strike. Soo fast! I wasn't even saying enough merry Christmas and it's gone. We spent a great Christmas eve at the church by singing epic Christmas song with the choir team. After that, was almost all night stuck in Christmas traffic.

And then, the crazy traffic jam going back to home town to spend the Christmas day with my mom. We went to the restaurant for Christmas dinner together, before we go back to the hotel. Yes you read it right, my brother has a stroke earlier last month, so for his convenient, my room has been converted to his kitchen. I'm not complaining, I've moved out from the house for donkey years, I should have totally removed my stuff and let go of whatever left behind.

Before we realized, it was already boxing day. We spent yet another day with mom, going out for groceries shopping and some school supplies. Back in my hometown it was indeed cheaper compared to Kuala Lumpur.

And then family dinner at the Chinese restaurant we usually have dinner even before my dad passed away. The place is so pack and since we are in a group of 12 family table, I didn't waste time to take photo. You will just have to imagine it noisiest Chinese seafood restaurant how it looks like, especially during Christmas holiday. Very pricey as well, seriously considering NOT going back.

And then came the weekend, time for mass. We took the highway and started driving quite smoothly back to Kuala Lumpur. Along the way we witnessed one of the great escape on the opposite road when everyone still trying to get out of the major city. We managed to spend a quiet evening at the church for sunset mass. Absolutely love the vibe when there's not too crowded.

After church, we drove to the nearby mall for dinner with my church friends. Since it's quite warm outside, having dinner IN the mall would make sense.

This is generally how it looks like inside Kuala Lumpur during festive season and long weekend holiday. Especially during year end, everyone is taking their day off to get out of town.

Even this restaurant feels a little empty. We sometimes come during evening after fetch the kids from school to spend our dinner here.

I've got myself a huge glass of charm. It's a combination of tea and coffee we Malaysian loves to drink, and we called it charm. If you like Thai milk tea, then this is that, with a dash of coffee aroma into it.

A bowl of signature hand made noodle soup coupled with a few pieces of fishball and bean curd. The soup is boiling hot and sprinkled with deep friend garlic and minced meat, absolutely crazy idea to eat this when the weather is so damn warm. Totally forgotten why do we choose to eat in the mall when we finishes mass.

Daughter was complaining her piece of luncheon meat wasn't taste as good as it should. I don't normally take these stuff, but I can see that this time it's slightly overcooked, the surface looks hard. Oh well it's Christmas season. Don't feel like complaining anyways. One of the worst things you can imagine is they take your food back to the kitchen, and god knows what they will serve you next 😂 happy Christmas all!
Yeah and that's it!
