Hello folks! Welcome to Malaysia! I am actually nearer than you think! I already knew Hive Fest is around the corner, the only thing I can't commit is, my job routine and family schedule as I have recently changed job. Not only that, I have joined the Catholic church this year, so I have committed way too many things in my daily life and that's include my weekends that dedicated to family and religion. Since I may not be able to see you all in the festival, here I can at least be an online food tour guide for you!
Quick Fuel Man - Sungei Wang Plaza
This is one of the healthier choice. If you're vegetarian or vegan, they have vegan choice for their healthy bowls. Location sits right at bukit bintang the golden triangle area. Price range between RM15-20 a meal. That's like €3, can be very affordable yo. They have a lot of souvenir shops in there as well, be sure to visit Sungei Wang Plaza for more. Don't expect genuine product though if you're looking for Branding stuff. Often you'll find Adidos, Nikke, Bilabong, Chenai, YesSaneLaurent and many more. Just don't expect to impress your friends back in your home country.

Restoran Kader
The funky spelling is NOT wrong or on purpose. It's a local Malay spelling of restaurant. Kader is one of the most prominent and authentic Indian restaurant in Lebuh Ampang. It's slightly out of the way, but it still within one of the most important place to visit in Kuala Lumpur. Probably take a 20 minutes walk from Bukit Bintang. Food here is great, they make absolutely fluffy Puri and amazing Dosai. Price tag? Absolutely insane. My dosai and tea cost me RM5, that's like €1 in translation. There are many more indian shops here, but go easy on the meat dish, as that's where tourists get slaughtered. Stick to the staple food and always ask for the price tag before ordering.

The Chicken Chop Station
This place is known for its self service western cuisine. If you're a big eater, come and get yourself 2 huge dinning plate. Fill one plate with pasta, and another plate for boiled veges and chicken chops. Spaghetti cost RM6, each piece of chicken chop RM8. I can't remember how much do they charge with the veges.
I can oftenly go crazy and burst my 2 days calories count. Their chicken chop are juicy and grilled to the max, to a point just before it start to burn. Extremely tender and juicy.

Public transport - Rapid
Rapid system is the local version of Metro. We have 4 rail systems here, namely Monorail, LRT, MRT and KTM. Unless you want to get out of Kuala Lumpur, avoid KTM as it usually goes interstate. Buy a day pass, you can make use of all 3 rail system and the bus.
Heaviest Noodle
Titiwangsa Wang Kopitiam

We called it Wan Tan noodle, technically pronounce as One Ton Mean. If you're adventurous enough, you can take the MRT and will need you to walk into the forest to get to this 😂
Traditional food, traditional feelings. Food is great, coffee is nice as well. Be sure to ask for less sweet as we Malaysian likes to consume sweet.
That will be all for now. Time to head to office. My window view is Journal hotel, and from my pantry I can see Pavilion loading bay. So, I am just nearby.
Hive Fest in Malaysia! 🤩 Enjoy the food tour, even if it's just online. Hope you can make it! 🙏
Thanks buddy. Will try to see if I can catch some of them to meet outside 😅
