Today is Sunday, a time to relax and spending together with our Family. For me, this is also a perfect day for doing mountain adventure specially during early in the Morning. This is my plan, to climb up in the mountain and explore the wonderful views there. This place is near at our house that is why it is very easy to go here and this blog and article of mine serve also as a quick tour of the place. I Was excited to went on the high mountain here in Manticao, the Bandera mountain it is expected to see lots of wonderful over views just like wide plains, neighboring mountains and Seas.
At first, we passes by in this place called, Pastohan. This is a kind of areas were different kinds of farm raising animals like cows, goats, and carabaos feed with the grass. Most of the place here are solid silica stones and only a small portion of soil can be seen here. The grass was slowly turned back into green color due to heavy rains happened here two days ago already. I requested my partner to take me a picture in this place because the views are very beautiful.
Those birds flying up in the sky, while others was berching in this cable wire located at the place. There are actually lots of birds can be seen here because of the different kinds of tall trees grows on the top of the mountain. During my travel adventure, I can heard the tweeting and chirping of birds and it looks like very happy to have this place as their home. There are lots of birds can be seen here and some of it are come from far away place. I was having a lot of fun time watching those birds flying up to the sky.
It was very sunny day even if it is still 6 in the morning. Those mountain we can seen is the neighboring mountains of Barangay Pagawan, Manticao Misamis Oriental. There are also few coconut trees grows in the place and it was already to harvested the coconut fruits. There was also a road trail in this area were residents in this place always passing here as their shortcut going to the Barangay road. Near at this areas is the high cliff leading to the river and it is very dangerous because of the slippery place.
Despite of the great views in the place, there are still some Nature Problems can be seen here just like this landslide. The stones are rolled down from the mountain and a big cracks of soil. This was happened when a big flood and heavy rains hit our Place. This stone bolder are made of silica stones and it is also dangerous to collapse. This place will collapse anytime because silica stone can break easily into tiny particles. People are avoiding this place for their safety and searching another place to route.
Pineapple plants also grows here at the mountain, I was wondering how this plant grows and ended here, their was no people planted this plant here at the mountain slope. Well, it will be very lucky for us to have this, we can be abled to get pineapple fruits and eat or sell to the market. This fruits is seasonal and it only produced this plant a fruits every March to May.
Buying Bread at the Bakershop:
This photos of mine was at the bakershop when I decided to buy some bread. My partner noticed this poor dog looking at me while choosing the bread I want to buy and it looks like this dog was hungry. As I looked the dog, He wiggled his tail and I think he wants me to become his friend. As for that, I decided to give some bread and the dog ate all of it.
