Because of there is no flood occur here in our place, there lots of garbage just like branches, twigs and some plastics that flashed away from high places. We can see that there are lots of dried branches, coconuts floating in the water and some plastics. Our Purok leader decided to do plans by cleaning up this place together with the residents. Sometimes, their are lots of children who went fishing here in this place while others are having swimming in this shallow of water.
A Carabao in the River
I also noticed this Carabao enjoying swimming in the water. The Farmers always put their carabaos here in this place so that their animals can always feel relaxing and keeps away the heat. Carabaos can easily died if it exposed by the heat that is why it needs to bathed in the river. This animals is very useful to all farmers, it helps them to make their work easier and done fast. There are lots of carabaos placed in the river and the owner bathed it for a whole day.
A Bamboo ( Balatakan )
Bamboo plants can also help the place of being cool and relaxing. Because of this it will be very perfect for resting here in this area. Everytime it sways the leaves because of the winds, it can also releases winds ànd make the place even cooler and refreshing. Bamboos is one of the most important thing or materials used for building houses, chairs, tables and other house purposes. It can also help the place from being not be eroded because the roots of this plants holds the soil. The name of this bamboo in local term is BALATAKAN and it grows and propegate very fast.
We are very worried about the situation here in our place. The water level is continuing to low and and some of the parts in the river is already dried. The grass near at the river is also dried and some of it are already died because of the heat. But despite of the situation, We are so lucky to have this place. Very relaxing, beautiful, peaceful and refreshing place. There are lots of green leaves because of the different kinds of trees and it can make relax to our eyes.
Exploring the Other Side of the River
I decided to explored the other side of the river were the flowing of water located. Before we arrive at the place, it needs to pass slope trails in the cliff. I take very more careful by stepping so that I wont fall from the slopes places.
This is the trail I am talking about and it only good for people. It is very dangerous to pass through here that is why it needs to be more careful. The place is surrounded with many trees, and it is very cool.
The Flowing of Water (Tuburan)
This place was once a flow of water located. The water that comes out in this side of the cliff is connected to our water pump. That big stone is were the water comes out. But because of of the heat, this place was already dried.
