Walking and taking some photos the other day In Danang, Vietnam.
I've been sort of struggling to keep my motivation high lately. It's been hard to stay focused and keep pushing forward. But I'm trying to remind myself that every day is a new opportunity to start fresh. And, even though it might be hard, I know that it's important to keep going. I'm just taking it one day at a time and hoping for the best.
One way I keep motivated is to go out for a walk with the puppy and take photos.
Yesterday we took such a walk in the setting afternoon sun. The weather was solid, the air crisp and a little breeze... some great vibes.
Here are some photos from my walk.
Trees are interesting with the way they bend. They grow towards the light, but their branches can also be heavy. This makes them adaptable to their environment and also makes them aesthetically pleasing. They provide shade and shelter from the sun and wind, and their leaves can be used for different purposes.
Forest areas in urban settings are often seen as a curiosity. They are usually small, and sometimes even hidden away, but they offer a sense of tranquility in the midst of a busy city. Forest areas can provide a much-needed respite for city dwellers, and they can also be a source of pride for a community.
Viettel is the local telecommunications company here... or, perhaps this is a tombstone from poor sole called Viettcl??
People zip past on their ways to mysterious locations, places where they can be whoever they want to be. They can be powerful or powerless, rich or poor, happy or sad. It doesn't matter, because in these places, they can be anyone they want to be.
A small bug is scurrying around a discarded coke can, looking for a way inside. It finds a small opening and crawls inside. The can is now its home. The bug is safe from the outside world and can relax. It will use the can as a place to sleep and store its food. The can is the perfect size for the bug and it is happy to have found a new home.
This helmet was once used to protect someone's head, but now it's been discarded and left to rot. There's no head to protect anymore, and the helmet is nothing more than a reminder of what once was. It's a sad sight, and it's a reminder of how things can change in an instant.
A path into the abyss is a place where few people dare to tread. It is a dark and dangerous place, full of unknown terrors and hidden pitfalls. Those who venture into the abyss do so at their own peril, and often do not return. But for those brave or foolhardy enough to explore it, the abyss holds many secrets and wonders. It is a place of great danger, but also of great beauty as it leads the beach!
