Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. There are many temples in Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai Province. This district is about 50 kilometers from my home. My wife and I have visited temples in Chiang Dao District. But we still have many temples in this district that we haven't visited. Of course we planned to visit all the temples in Chiang Dao District as well. If we have the opportunity and free time. In this post I will take you to see another temple in this district. This temple is called Wat Hua Tho.
Wat Hua Tho is a common monastery in Hua Tho community, Ping Kong sub-district. This temple is the small temple with the small area on a hill. I have no information about this temple. But Wat Hua Tho is a temple of the local Thai people and ethnic groups in the Hua Tho community. And close to the ethnic market that I shared with everyone.
Our journey to Wat Hua Tho. We traveled on highway 107 through Chai Prakan District and reached Chiang Dao District. When reaching Chiang Dao District before reaching the temple, the view on highway 107 is the natural view.
When we arrive at the temple, This temple is located on a low hill. The temple sign is made of simple wood.
There is a wooden spirit house next to the temple sign.
The atmosphere on the hill outside the temple is the area of the local villagers.
This temple has no walls surrounding the temple area. Before reaching the entrance of the temple, there are statues of many deities. And the front is a simple buddha image hall (viharn).
Inside the temple there is a pagoda and a buddha image in front of the pagoda. In addition, inside the temple is section containing the monks' living quarters.
