Hello hive!!! Your @langqt was back again. Ok, for today's blog are the things we do during our fiesta.
December 14 2024, our youth was continued cleaning and put the net. The purpose of the net is to cover a little space for the people to dance. If the people want to dance inside the net well paid 20 pesos ONLY. We use some woods to make it more stronger. And so that the other children couldn't crawl in a space ( because sometimes there are some kids that are going to crawl even it has a small space only).
Few hours the sound system was arrived. It was a rainy day, I thought that the sound system was canceled, but I'm wrong HAHAHA😆. And the operator of the sound system was said "our disco will not stop, rain or shine we will continue it".
And the owner of the land was visited with his partners. It was so muddy her but pak they arrive with there van.
And my tita was celebrate early. Because her daughter was not able to be here at exactly the fiesta date. Because the fiesta is Monday, here daughter is a teacher and they have a class on Monday. And the will have to travel 4 hours to come back to their house.
And in 3:00 PM+, we proceed in designing our chapel. We used a red curtains to cover the back ground. And we used a yellow curtain in the side. It is look simple but still nice. And as you can see we used a balloon. And we put the balloon in our stage.
And then at night, our 8th Novena was started. We are so thankful because a lot of people and children was attended. In the front of the chapel seems a little of people. But in the back a lot of people and children.
When the Novena was done and the disco was officially started. At that time it just a kids was dancing because it's too early pa. And my nanay sad at almost 10:00 PM was a lot of people was attended in disco. I wasn't dance those time because I slept early.

Our day was started so good. I saw my nanay was making a hanging rice or posu in our dialect term. She use a coconut leaves because it's smell so good. I wonder how to make it, I've try to make it but still I don't know how to make it AHAHAH😆. But my nanay and my sister well do it so fast. And she cooked it.
And our softdrinks and beer was arrived. My sister buy 1 case only of softdrinks because my nanay was bought 3 case yesterday. My sister buy 4 case of beer, because we have a lot of relatives will come. And almost of our relatives will drink alcohol drinks.
And a usual, we have a fiesta mass. The mass was started at 9:00 AM (it was so early because the priest has another booking) Less of people was attended (maybe they are still hangover).
When the mass was done, I saw my brother was cooking a whole fried chicken. My tatay said that we will grill it. But my brother said "no no I will fried the whole chicken and I'll do it". The chicken we used is ours. I blog I already when my tatay buy it and they grow so fast. One chicken is almost 2kgs weight.
And the main dish is letchong baboy. It is a whole grilled pig. My parents bought a alive pig few weeks before the fiesta. And they paid 6,000 pesos for 40kgs weight of the pig and they save a lot. Because my parents bought the pig from there friend. And excuse me for our Muslim and other religion Hivers. I have a big respect of your religion.
Then, we counted the money we earned from last night. We earned 800+ pesos. And that's not bad for one night. And also our place was not so known and the road was muddy. But it still ok it is still fun.
When we all counted the money, our youth organization was decided to prepared some snacks for our pursesion. We buy a bread and partner it with a juice.
We check some other kind of juice but it is pricey. Our budget could not buy a more juice, so we decided to by the pack juice. And pak here's come our model for today AHAHAH.
And this is all my companions namely Manoy Ian (our truck driver), ate Cherry Mea, ate Cheryl, kuya Jemuel and Hannah. We also go in a public market. Because some materials we gonna use is not available on the minimarket. We by here a drinking straws, a plastic cup and a flour for our games.
When we are back home and our visitors was already eat. So we decided to ate also and the foods was almost out of foods HAHAHA. And thankfully it has still food for us.
