Sublime and Beautiful Sunday ..... My 1.8.2021 edition.

Today, I have been cleaning my container garden in the balcony and took pics of the Dahlia that beautifully bloomed in white. I love the color hues of white.
Then, I harvested some container cherry tomatoes for the salad.
At the end of this road, I turned left and passed-by the onion field below...
In between the onion plants were some cannabis/hemp that grew abundantly. I would say that the cannabis do not have a THC value. Hemps are legally grown in Austria.
I wrote an original poem about Nature that appeared in another platform some 3 years ago and the excerpt goes like this:
"the solitude of a pathway deafening, but what follows later enticing
for when larks start humming, new days enhance a bright beginning...."
On my way to the National Park that is about a kilometer from where I took this airplane image, it occurred to me that we are really just a few kilometers of air space from Vienna International Airport. This plane was about to land and had been slowly descending to the ground.
I also passed-by this hunter´s seat, the area has plenty of birds and pheasants.
The crows and other birds here were searching on the grounds with the hope that they could find more grains since the farmer had just harvested the wheat recently.
Finally, I reached the Park... One would notice the huge trees at the entrance of this Park and in this area is were the visitors get information, maps and what to do and what not to do when visiting the Park.
The tall trees always give shades to what is below and there is always a cool breeze that everyone enjoys especially on a hot summer day like this.
The ducks were happily swimming in the pond... they were more in numbers than in the past, maybe its because the pond had more water now than before since it rained a lot the last days.
This is my favorite place whenever I come here, the water is so clear and clean. I already took so many shots of this area taken from the bridge and some I made as my title photo in blogs here on Hive. In winter, it is bizarre to see the trees without leaves.
This is how the entrance (one of many) looks like from within the Park. I had to thread my way back turning right after the sign board in this crossing to the center of the fields. It was time to go home after a relaxing visit.
On my way back, I saw some plants and flowers that were worthy of some snapshots and this was one of them, the bud of the popular Queen Anne´s Lace.

I also saw this sunflower in the middle of the field, this must have been blown by the wind from somewhere or the pollinators dropped it in this place.
Again, a Queen Anne´s Lace in full bloom. I decided to edit this in black and white because I loved its silhouette as the sun was shining through its clusters of tiny flowers.
Lastly, a snail hanging on the dried yarrow flowers. In Spring or early Summer, the eggs of these snails would hatch and their tiny shells would cling onto grasses or branches of young plants for food.

ate i love the black and white image indeed.. it highlights the flower and the sunrays made it even prettier! it seems like there's no one else in the park?

It is a Dahlia.. When I drafted this post last night I was mad at someone named Daisy (which is also a flower) because she did a very nasty thing.. Hahaha. So I am editing this post now.. Thanks to you..
