Greetings everyone! On this occasion, I’d like to take you to a historical place where it exists an old classical music instrument and many cultural stuffs that have in Siem Reap museums.
When we talk about culture, we often think of Angkor period that is a rich and wonderful culture of all time in Cambodia. I am proud to say this country has been developed since that period.
Here are a few interesting explorations that I have found, classical music history, daily stuffs, tool and some introducing that might help you hear the music, and think of our culture, differently, too.
Classical Instrument
I'm not sure how the previous generation of Cambodians used these kind of things, but what I see is that they are creative in the way they producing and creative their own styles.
Wooden Tray
This tray usually designed for King in the palace. At that time, woods is the useful and important thing for them to make a lot of things, most of the tool that comes up to their mind is woods. Cambodia has many trees so it easy for them to find it whether in the deep forest or rural area, the only thing that I am not really sure is how they cut it, if they cut a big or small tree.
With their subtle design and stylish engraved handles, wooden serving trays are a classic serving piece. They add culture to the table of that period. They can put a lots of food, desserts inside.
Tactical Knife
Actually, I’m not really good at playing music. But, I do appreciate all the musicians as much as I appreciate Khmer musicians, their best work is too tempestuous for me.
The return of the nation's costume is the return of the souls of the Khmer ancestors who created it, the great happiness of the nation. Voluntary return of artifacts to one's homeland demonstrates the appreciation of the cultural heritage of humankind and the improvement of the ethics of ancient collectors.
Dark Silver Kettle
The Khmer ancestors of Angkor generation sacrificed their lives to build such an amazing works for the next generation of Cambodians to see and learn about it. Their work including Angkor Wat temple, Preah Vihear, Bayon and many more.
The antiques on display here are priceless, the soul of the Khmer nation.
Cambodian is really good at creating and recycling the materials around them into a wide range of materials to make their daily life easier.
So guys what you think about morning walk, take it as daily routine, it also increases your energy levels. I really love taking a walk outside the Museum, the environment is fresh and make me relax. When we walked in a big group like this, I am sure you can talk about something new and enjoy yourselves with a special view, there is a wooden house and nature to see. I also believe walking will help my health problems too.
A couple days ago, we had the best weather conditions in Cambodia, a traveler could dream of. There are a lot of sunshine and great temperatures during the day, with a decent splash of rain in the evening. As a result, my experience visiting and explore this museum is fantastic.
