Hello everyone,
With the Covid-19 situation getting better, events have started in Japan again. One is the Kishiwada Danjiri festival in Osaka, which was held again for the first time in 2 years.
Kishiwada Danjiri Festival
Kishiwada is a small town south of Osaka. The Kishiwada Danjiri festival is one of the most famous festivals in Osaka. More than a hundred people push and pull handcrafted wooden vehicles (Danjiri) and run around the town. I heard that the organizers invited local kids to participate because they want their kids to have fun, too. The highlight of the Kishiwada Danjiri festival is the guy at the top of the vehicle, who dances and stands while the vehicle moves.
There are food stands nearby where you can try local street food such as yakisoba, takoyaki, juices, and other things. I walked around for a while but didn't try any food because it was too crowded.
