Hello everyone! At last, the rain has finally stopped so I took the opportunity to capture several shots in my garden. The cool weather brought wonderful colors in my garden!

It seems that a combination of violet and pink is the colour of the day!

My garlic flowers are sprawling all over the leaves and above my Poinsettias. Insects are attracted to their smell I guess. Well, it's part of life's cycle so let it be. The worms are more feasty though the butterflies kept their wings away from the storm.

My blue tarnate begun to climb and intertwined with my climbing tomato plant beside. Oh well, it's too late to separate them apart, but they're healthy as tooaay are at the moment . My monstera find its way up too.

My climbing pink rose is still as fragrant 3 years ago. It was only a petite 5-inch stalk when I planted it. Now it's greeting me above my terrace!

See my peace lily? They can give you that feeling of contentment when you look at their dainty white shade, so calm and pure!

The green leaves became darker this time. I had the ground cleaned before the strong wind strikes again!

Look at my pear squash, they're now thick and ready to bear fruits! My lemon grass has grown thicker. It almost died last hot season, leaving only one stalk. I carefully tended to it since I always use this for my cooking and it costs 3 pesos per stick! I promised myself to grow one. The young sprouts of pear squash (sayote) is also good for sauteed veggies or with Coco milk

These African violets was only a single leaf when I picked it up beside a pile of cut grass. I said, you will multiple soon. Now I have more to split and segregate to give them new life of its own.

This is all for now, thank you for dropping by my page. God bless!

Wow! What a beautiful garden you have. I love the colors of the flowers my fave colors.

Thanks sis. Yes these colors dominated my garden for now. I planned to look for those with red flowers for variation.:)

You have a beautiful and peaceful garden :)

Thank you. I grew up in a colony where our parents were self sufficient. We had all the fruit trees we enjoyed climbing esp the oranges and guavas. Lol. We had our parks filled with beautiful flowers too. My garden reminds me of home. It was the glory we once had. The cruelties of war turned it into nightmare.

I love that you rescued the violets, and now they are thriving :) Do you plan to grow another patch of lemon grass?

Indeed. Actually, I've planted one with roots and leaves already but it died. Then I planted that one single leaf without roots yet it has thrived. Something to learn about the different stages of life, right?
As for the lemon grass, I think I will buy some stalks with roots. They will throw the roots anyway. The lemon grass will tend to die when you move the roots and I won't let that happen after carefully bringing it back to life. Lol!

Thank you for dropping by my page. I've read one of your posts about 'Wind' too. Will read the rest later. Thanks.

Thank you so much!

I'm glad you are liking my stories :)

I don't blame you for not risking the lemon grass! I planted some bunching onions which were discards - even the roots were molding. Except for a few being stolen by a squirrel they thrived, and will keep on providing greens until the winter kills them!

Oh thank you!

Such an amazing garden you have, and I'm sure you put a lot of effort into maintaining it. So much purple and pink, absolutely pleasing to the eyes.

Thank you! Yes, you need to tend to them with love and care.:) My earnings here helped me pay for other laborious jobs like clearing the carabao grass and gathering of soil for my new pots. It's heartwarming when you see them in full blooms and the leaves greener!

Wow, I love your garden, that’s my dream. Good plants and good post.

Thanks dear. It needs a lot of effort but rewarding at the end of the day.
