One of the problems I face when using the laptop is heat issues. Before switching to a desktop for my job back then, I was using a laptop. It was convenient and light, but it often overheats, especially because I tend to work long hours and my classes involve videos and opening various websites.
Because of that, my old laptop always used to overheat until it finally gave up. Since then, I chose to use a desktop computer for my job. When there were problems, I'd just change or add parts and upgrade it. Now, my desktop (particularly the CPU) is still usable, but I'll need to upgrade it and buy some parts before I can use it again.
As I've shared in my previous posts, my bestie and her hubby bought me a laptop so I can start working again. It's really useful, especially because of its portability. I don't have my own room and just transfer from one part of the house to another, though most of my classes occur at the dining table.
I've learned from my mistake back then, so I wanted to take care of this laptop more. I'm using battery-friendly settings as much as I can, though I'll be needing more of its functions when I'm working my main job. However, when I'm just blogging or doing my personal classes, I'll use the more battery-friendly mode.
This place is also very hot, and we don't have any A/C, unlike my previous room, so overheating is more likely to happen. When I told my mom that I'm going to invest in an external fan for my laptop, she volunteered to pay for it. <3 I'm so happy because I didn't have any money left and was planning to buy it when I earn some again. But because of her, I could get it sooner than planned.

It arrived a couple of days ago, and I've been using it since then. Before this arrived, I used to fan my laptop with the small fan I use for myself. We had to share... but now, my lappy has its own fan, and it's feeling comfortable since then. haha

You can see the mini fan I use on the table. Before getting this external fan, I'd carry this fan in the middle of my class and point it at my laptop to make it cooler. I could feel the heat building when I was typing, so it wasn't good at all.

Now, it doesn't feel as hot... The fan is also silent, so it's not a problem for my work. I just hope this will last long. It wasn't that expensive, and I could use some vouchers and points, so I got it at a more reasonable price. haha
Anyway, I need not worry about my lappy overheating as much as before. It's now being cooled down by its new friend. haha Let's protect our source of income, shall we?
So yeah... that's it for this post. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you next time!

Good to know! My external fan isn't working anymore so now my laptop reaches 62 degrees when using a lot of programs. Lol.
Oh no! You need a new one, then. hahaha
Haha oh no indeed. 😆

It's indeed quite helpful to prevent our laptops from overheating. :)
