Welcome to The Database, an archive of solar data and knowledge for preservation. There is a tsunami of solar data that needs to be reviewed, and so we are doing this work. These records will help us study the upcoming solar cycle. Links will be provided to all sources, and this community will serve as a backup for that data. The BASE.

The solar dynamic observatory was launched February 11, 2010 and for just over a decade humanity has had the clearest look at the sun that we have ever had. The information pouring in helps us to understand our place in the universe, and the dynamic forces which effect our planet.

AIA 300 - This wavelength lets you see the surface regions.

AIA 171 - This wavelength lets you see the plasma flaring off the sun.

This data is only temporary but there is a bulk archive on SolarSoft.
