What is Epilepsy
Epilepsy is a disorder of the brain characterized by repeated seizures. A seizure is usually defined as a sudden alteration of behavior due to a temporary change in the electrical functioning of the brain. Epilepsy is usually diagnosed after a person has had at least two seizures that were not caused by some known medical condition, such as alcohol withdrawal or extremely low blood sugar.

In a situation whereby one who has been addicted to alcoholic drinks and after a while stops the body system which has been yielded to the mechanism of having things to be done with alcohol precipitates this reaction and there is a feeling of such incident thereby provoking seizure.
Conditions To be meant for seizure to take place
There are several satisfying conditions to which seizure is induced on which if there platform is kept, epilepsy is said to occur.
. Stress
. Sleep deprivation or fatigue
. Insufficient food intake
. Alcohol use or drug abuse
. Failure to take prescribed anticonvulsant medications

Preparations Taken to Process Rauvolfia Vomitoria
In the processing of Rauvolfia vomitoria
the following procedures are undergone;
. scrapping the upper layer of the herb
. keeping it under a cool temperature
. serial grinding of the herb in to powder.
In the extraction of the chemicals embedded inside of the herb,so many materials are needed which include alcohol, and so many things jus to mention but a few. When extracted,phenol,crude extract,are seen
The following images are real and was taken by me to show the processes involved in having the extracts used in epilepsy. The research is being conducted by me to prove the efficacy of rauvolfia vomitoria on the treatment or lessing the effect of epilepsy.

Very interesting! Thanks for sharing! From the photos I imagine you picked this plant yourself, can you tell me what region of the world you are from? Is it common in your area? Is it a subtle herbal use or does it have intense anticonvulsant potential similar to some drugs? Would you be able to say what is the mechanism of action that makes her anti-epileptic?
Am a Nigerian, south east specifically, it's a lab work and am working on it to know more, will let you know when done
