Proven solution since ages
There are some real proven solutions for hair fall that has been practiced since ages, the only difficulty is to prepare them. It's not very difficult though, but most people go after fancy products that are readily available in the market. They are not cheap and do not deliver the result as promised, but powerful marketing makes them popular. More ever, you barely see any negative reviews , because they carefully choose and publish the favorable ones. And we can do nothing about it. So it's best to take a little pain and prepare what was there in granny's store. This particular solutions has simple ingredients :
- Curry leaves
- 6-7 Hibiscus flowers
- One onion
- Aloe Vera
- Fenugreek or Methi
- Black Cumin Seeds
- Oil of your choice, we used Coconut oil
Before moving my plants to the garden area, I cut all the Curry leaves stems because I knew they won't survive as people will take them. So it was a perfect opportunity to prepare the solution. Then getting fresh Hibiscus flowers are a dream in my apartment, because people take the buds the previous day. Usually, I personally consider it not right to take the buds and grow them artificially ( by putting in water) and offer them to God. But given no choice, this is the first time in many years, I had to collect some buds and put in water for our solution.
As you can see, they grow over night, to become full flowers. If you have not discovered the medicinal value of Hibiscus, then I strongly recommend you do some research. You will be surprised to find it's benefits. Here is a quick link to start with - we have vast knowledge base on Ayurveda. The hibiscus flower contains natural pigments, antioxidants and vitamins that are very useful for hair health.
And here comes all the ingredients on a plate - this will help you realize the amount of each item that are added to 200 ml hair(coconut) oil. We also prepare coconut oil at home, but then that is very concentrated and has some other medicinal uses and is not suitable for hair (because it will smell a lot). So we went for the regular one that we get in the market - almost every Indian would know this brand.
And once the ingredients are ready, the rest of the job is pretty simple - put the coconut oil in a container, add all ingredients to the oil. Please note to take out only the flower part of the hibiscus as you can see. Then boil this for 15 minutes in low flame and leave it to cool down. After some time, filter it and keep in a container.
Granny's oil is ready, not damn difficult, isn't it ? This is very effective compared to those costly products available in market. And you can't find something similar even. And while this will remain fine for few months, it's best to prepare this in low quantity and consume.

That looks like an interesting old school medicine. Never heard of it. But here in my country, balding is a pretty big problem and in fact, quite a lot of my friends are partly or even completely bald already :D :/ Not my case though, we don´t have balding in genetics but I already started to find my first gray hair :D :/ Btw I didn´t know the hibiscus flowers would grow and bloom in water like this :O I need to try it out as our (indoor) hibiscus always drops the flower as soon as it reaches the bud stage, don´t know why...
@tipu curate
Lucky you.
Hair loss from head is the main problem of all of us and you have shown a very nice herbal recipe about it and created a nice content to stop hair loss. thank you
I think this is really effective. I have hair fall problem. I wish you're just near so I can get some 😁
Wow, if this one works, you could make a lot of money selling it to people who are starting to go bald, which is something a lot of men struggle with. Good on you for sharing, luckily I am not going bald yet, so don't need it...... YET!
To sell this to people, it needs a little branding and at least a manageable packaging. But definitely a good idea for business.
great natural remedy, i will copy it and keep it handy since you never know if you might need it
Hello@sanjeevm! wao this recipe looks powerful.
The only thing I don't like is the onion because of its aroma😫.
I will recommend this recipe to a friend.👍
Plants are always powerfull, all the medicine on the world comes from plants, i bet this one really works!
Seems like great remedy, I have hair loss problem too and I like to try it but what is the solution of onion smell?
Well, the onion smell gets overpowered by curry leaves, so you get that smell mostly. If that is ok, then you can try this.
Then it is good to try. Thanks for remedy.
Dadi maa ke nuskhee are indeed very effective 😊🎉
Yes, unfortunately over time, we are going after readily available products.
Yes this remedies are very effective. I know my mother also telling me more time curry leaves are very best for hair colouring. Thanks for sharing this remedy my dear friend
It must be efficient. We wash our hair with onion peel so that the hair does not fall out. It helps a lot.
Ya, every ingredient is helpful individually, so collectively it makes a lot of difference.
That is good to know, I am fortunate as I have very thick hair, the only thing that happens is it goes white but gets thicker with age😄
So you rub the oil on your head I am guessing?
Yes, gentle rob and leave it for few hours, and then take bathe. One can also apply overnight. You are lucky to have such a lovely hair which gets thicker with age, you must be a disciplined man.
😊😉👍 so u just eat this? it's simple, but just the making of it does take some effort.. peopl (me too) are just lazy, i guess.. :P
ps. can't believe how everyone would just steal the flower buds.
No, apply on the scalp. And everyone stealing the buds is not stealing, it is now a culture :) All the jealous people, who want to safeguard their interest only.
😉😊 oh, i see.. that's nice then.. share the beauty of the flowers!
That's good remedy and with natural products. Some can be bought and others grown. And the amazing thing about this, it's all organic !
and a natural remedy I had never heard of to prevent hair loss. Also with simple ingredients and even easy to get

These are all proven techniques practiced since ages. Now we get lot of products campaigning great benefits, but then 60% of their cost goes towards marketing.
What a wonderful remedy! I love aloe for most things, internal and external, but never considered it for hair
Every ingredient used has benefits for hair, so collectively they do the magic.
These seems a great hack for hair fall, which is often the problem of men advancing in age.

I admit, my hair is thinning too. This might help. We have Aloe Vera and hibiscus flowers are everywhere.
Yes, this is not damn difficult, you must try it.
Yes. We actually have a lot of Aloe Vera in our yard.
I have a lot of those herbs. I might suggest to my friend.
Exactly, its all natural and 100% organic.
Yes. Not expensive and effective too.
I had tried Aloe Vera before and according to my family, my hair condition has improved (a bit) however because it isn't something that can be managed easily and because I had no extra time doing it now then I had to stop and simply let my hair be.
Your method is much more elaborate and it could be accomplished with time or help on your side. Thanks for sharing; it's a relatable and helpful post.
It's best to take care before it starts deteriorating .
True. I'm going to show my wife your home remedy and ask for her help to prepare it for me :) I believe that it is something that should be done on a regular basis before any visible results appear.
Yes of course we need to apply regularly for some time to see the results. Should feel in 2-3 weeks, applying at least 2-3 times a week.
Ah, 2 times a week should be workable for me. When I was doing Aloe Vera, it was every day and so it was time-consuming.
I'll go back to that routine following your advice. Thanks man! I had a nice interaction with you, your post is very helpful to me :)
I'm just 35 and I'm starting to notice a receding hair line, I don't want to end up bald in my 40s, that's too early :D
I think, all modern techniques say our scalp needs oil at twice a week, so that is the minimum, three is little better. So in general alternate days should be good enough.
That's a good basis for a routine.
I even read an article online that says we can't take shampoo every day because our scalp requires natural oil in it to keep it healthy. I'm sorry but this didn't work on me, I had an issue with dandruff when I followed this, probably because my scalp is too oily that bacteria and dandruff easily build up.
What a wonderful remedy! I love aloe for most things, internal and external, but never considered it for hair
