For today’s #monomad challenge, 5 am
Today I got up around 4:30 am with the intention of capturing a couple of shots while the city streets are still empty, also due to the heating season and lack of rainfall the air is the most polluted these days according to the latest measurements.
However, the road took me somewhere else, to the outskirts of the city.
The foothills of the Kosutnjak forest, also known as the "lungs of the city", is an area where city greenery grows seedlings.
The sun is slowly shining through its rays, it was only about 5 degrees, the grass is covered with dew, and traces of fog can be seen.
I love scenes like this.
Unfortunately, for reasons unknown to us, our government has long ago made a decision to cut this amount and build new "sports complexes", of which there are already enough in this area.
We have too much concrete, but too little greenery, so we will soon be left without healthy air, although many petitions have been written by citizens on this topic.
Let's hope for the best and for the smarter to win, not the stronger.
