June is Pride Month and this past weekend was the annual Pride Parade, which was a rather joyous occasion. It was almost too colorful to convert to black and white but still had to give it a try.

To keep myself from feeling compelled to shoot everything, the 85mm prime got dusted off and put to use. The plan was to just shoot street portraits, but who actually follows a plan?

An attempt was made at the very least but side quests may have been involved. Between the parade and all that was going on along the sidelines, it was hard not to get distracted.

Going to have to work on slowing down and not rushing when doing street portraits, there was plenty of pride and joy but not much thought given to framing.

Louisville may have multiple different Pride shindigs, but there's only one parade. With thousands lining the route to watch, it makes for prime street shooting.

All good things come to an end, and now it's time for one last Happy Pride!!! Stay weird y'all.
