Hello monochromatic #Hive friends!.... I woke up a little late (for what I usually do) and looked out of my window onto the street. I looked out at a clear day, a brightly lit street and the incipient golden light of dawn. But as I turned my face towards the south of town, I saw a vast expanse of dense, grey fog. It was so thick that it even looked like a rain cloud. But knowing this valley well, I knew at once that it was not rain but an exquisite mass of mist hanging over the rural areas to the south of the village...
¡Hola amigos monocromáticos de #Hive!... Me he despertado un poco tarde (para lo que acostumbro) y he asomado mi cabeza por mi ventana hacia la calle. He mirado un día despejado, una calle iluminada y la incipiente luz dorada del amanecer haciendo acto de presencia. Pero al girar mi rostro hacia el sur del pueblo, observé una inmensa información de niebla gris y densa. Era tan densa que inclusive parecía una nube de lluvia. Pero conozco bien este valle, supe de inmediato que no se trataba de lluvia sino de una exquisita masa de niebla apostada sobre las zonas rurales al sur del pueblo...
And as expected... The crazy guy with the camera in his hand wouldn't miss the opportunity to take pictures in that grey and extremely dense fog!... So I hurriedly drank a cup of coffee, got on my old bike (I bought it in 2004) and set off through the streets of the village, ignoring the greetings of the neighbours and leaving out some good street photos which I could surely take another time...
Y como era de esperarse... ¡El tipo loco con la cámara en la mano no perdería la oportunidad de hacer fotos en esa niebla gris y sumamente densa!... Así fue como bebí de manera apresurada una tasa de café, tomé mi vieja bicicleta (la compré en 2004) y salí disparado por las calles del pueblo obviando el saludo de los vecinos y dejando de lado algunas buenas fotos de calle las cuales podría seguramente hacer en otra oportunidad...
I cycled for a long time, until I started to feel tired (which happens easily to me hehehe).... About three kilometres after leaving the village, I realised that the fog was further away than I had thought. I had to go into an old dirt road which leads to an area of fields which the people here call "The Kleyinsky" due a couple of sisters of Polish origin who were the owners of this land in the first third of the 20th century... After another couple of kilometres crossing the dirt road I finally found myself immersed in the most exquisite and dense fog I had seen in months, and believe me we have very good fogs here for taking pictures, but this one was certainly something special.
Pedaleé largamente, hasta comenzar a sentir cansancio (lo cual me sucede fácilmente jejeje)... Después de unos tres kilómetros de haber dejando el pueblo, me percaté de que aquella gran cantidad de niebla estaba más lejos de lo que había pensado. Tuve que adentrarme en un viejo camino de tierra el cual lleva hacia un área de sembradíos la cual las personas aquí llaman "Las Kleyinsky" pues así se llamaban un par de hermanas de origen polaco quienes fueron las dueñas de estas tierras en el primer tercio del siglo XX... Después de otro par de kilómetros atravesando el camino de tierra finalmente me encontré sumergido en la niebla más exquisita y densa que había visto en meses, y créanme que aquí tenemos muy buenas nieblas para hacer fotos, pero esta fue algo especial ciertamente.
This is a relatively isolated place in the village. All the surrounding land is private and fenced with wire fences. However, the road itself is charming and from here you can take very good pictures. The terrain is diverse, there are plains, savannah and hills. The vegetation is also very diverse, there is even a small coniferous forest (something quite unusual in this area), grasslands and huge tropical trees whose branches are usually bare at this time of the year. All of this, coupled with the mist present, combines to provide natural scenes full of drama and eloquence. So it was an excellent idea to make the effort to come here on my old bike and take these photos to share with you in today's #monomad challenge...
Este es un lugar relativamente aislado del pueblo. Todos los terrenos alrededor son privados y están cercados con alambradas. Sin embargo el camino en sí es encantador y desde este se pueden hacer muy buenas fotos. El relieve es diversos, hay planicies de siembra, sabana y colinas. También la vegetación es muy diversa, hay incluso un pequeño bosque de coníferas (algo bastante inusual en esta zona), pastizales y enormes árboles tropicales cuyas ramas suelen estar desnudas en esta época del año. Todo esto sumado a la niebla presente, se conjuga para brindar escenas naturales cargadas de drama y elocuencia. Así que fue una excelente idea hacer el esfuerzo de venir hasta aquí en mi vieja bicicleta y poder hacer estas fotos para compartir con ustedes en nuestro querido reto #monomad de hoy...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.

Hahaha :)... You're always so observant dear friend @cyboule !... This is a nest of warrior wasps, called "Cachicameras" here.... I assume they belong to the genus Synoeca, but I don't know their species precisely. They are very aggressive insects and it is best not to bother them, there are many stories of animals attacked and killed by them, and they can kill a person in case of too many stings or if he/she is allergic... ... Fortunately, at 6:30 AM they seem to be fast asleep and I don't even see them outside their nest.

Thank you, I knew a black wasp of the same type that we called a (fire) fly! By the pain she generated because of her sting But I didn't know the nest
Dense fog and the hunter on a bicycle... I think it was a very healthy activity to ride there and then take these pictures, inspired, listening in silence to the beating of your own heart.
