Moving away from the Montalbán town towards the east, there is a narrow paved road that leads to the town of Aguirre. It is a relatively lonely road, although on working days you can find vehicles belonging to the farms that are productive and also people who work on them.

Alejándose del pueblo de Montalbán en dirección al Este, existe una angosta vía pavimentada la cual lleva hacia el pueblo de Aguirre. Es un camino relativamente solitario, aunque los días laborales se pueden encontrar vehículos pertenecientes a la fincas que están productivas y también personas las cuales laboran en ellas.

Mornings with dense fog provide an excellent opportunity to walk along this road. In many of the sections of this road there are huge trees on both sides, these "traps" the fog and create a lovely visual effect where you can take advantage of the contrasts, backlights and fugue points generated by the road.

Las mañanas con densas nieblas obsequian una oportunidad excelente para caminar por esa vía. En muchos de los tramos de este camino hay enormes árboles de lado y lado, estos apresan la niebla y crean un efecto visual encantador en donde se pueden aprovecharlos contrastes, los contraluces y los puntos de fuga generados por el camino.

The photos I share today as my entry to the #monomad challenge correspond mostly to the paved road itself and some views observed from its edges towards the surroundings. I used for this a 50mm fixed focal length lens which limits me in terms of maneuverability and practically forces me to compose the photo in direct relation to my location and distance from the main elements. However, this lens, being very bright, greatly facilitates the management of the parameters of the captures and avoids noise and trepidation problems thanks to being able to use high shutter speeds even at low ISO.

Las fotos que comparto hoy como mi entrada al reto #monomad corresponden en su mayoría a el camino pavimentado en sí y a algunas vistas observadas desde sus bordes hacia los alrededores. Yo usé para esto un objetivo de distancia focal fija de 50mm el cual me limita en lo relativo a capacidad de maniobra y me obliga prácticamente a componer la foto en relación directa a mi ubicación y distancia de los elementos principales. Sin embargo, este objetivo al ser muy luminoso, me facilita grandemente la gestión de los parámetros de las capturas y me evita problemas de ruido y trepidación gracias a poder usar velocidades de obturación altas aún con ISO bajo.

I took some pictures going away from the paved road and into dirt roads which even penetrate into some productive farm land. In fact, I was approached by a caretaker who came up to me on a motorcycle to find out what I was doing on that private property, but upon seeing me he immediately recognized me: "Ah, you're the crazy guy with the camera"... And matter solved, I was able to continue taking pictures without any problems! (those are some of the strange things that happen to me sometimes) 😂.

Hice algunas fotos alejándome del camino pavimentado y adentrándome en caminos de tierra los cuales penetran incluso en algunos terrenos de fincas productivas. De hecho, fui abordado por un cuidador el cual llegó hasta mí en motocicleta para averiguar que estaba yo haciendo en esa propiedad privada, pero al verme me reconoció de inmediato: "Ah, tú eres el tipo loco con la cámara"... ¡Y asunto resuelto, pude seguir haciendo fotos sin problemas! (esas son unas de las extrañas cosas que me pasan a veces) 😂.

I will end this publication with photos of my return to the village. Curiously, the fog there was still denser than on the road, but the presence of more people and even some vehicles unmistakably betrays the proximity of the urban area.

Finalizaré esta publicación con fotos de mi retorno al pueblo. Curiosamente, la niebla allí seguía aún más densa que en en camino, pero la presencia de más personas e incluso algún vehículo delata la cercanía del aréa urbana de manera inequívoca.
