Hello again monochromatic #Hive friends!... The past week my neighbourhood has been unusually busy. It seems that people here have regained a bit of their cheerfulness with the imminent arrival of Christmas. That is typical since the first days of December here, as our people are quite simple and usually rejoice with simple things. So it is not surprising that times like these make them forget their shortcomings a bit and have a more active and cheerful attitude.

People are starting to appear more on the streets, bringing things in and out. Some have started to repair the facades of their houses, others are cleaning the streets that had been left unclean for the rest of the year. We hear laughter, they talk loudly and in general everyone looks happier. I, for my part, take the opportunity to continue doing what I always do: "taking photos" and being "the crazy guy with the camera in my hand", but I notice the change in the mood of many.

The pace at which I take the photos is almost the same as always. Maybe I just have to be a little more attentive, but nothing serious. I think it has to do with my mania for practicing equanimity in my environment. I'm a bit of a "nihilistic guy wandering around with a camera"... So sometimes I catch myself being a bit unhappy with the unusual cheerfulness displayed by neighbours in the streets. I don't want to sound inconsiderate or petulant, but I have to confess that I have a certain addiction to the natural bitterness of the visual drama generated by the shortcomings of the environment. I am referring to the issue of the political, social and obviously moral crisis that our society is suffering. So to see everyone suddenly cheerful and carefree confuses me. But anyway, since I was a child I have been a damned madman whose favourite sport is almost always "to think very differently from everyone around" and this includes "sailing against the current even without having reasons" and in spite of understanding what I'm doing...

As is my habit when it comes to posts based on monochrome street photography accompanied by a bunch of weird lines of text; this is my entry to today's #monomad challenge.... ;)

The chickens just run loose do they? My voting power returns in 2 days, out of power for now though..

Haaa haaaa haaa :))... Yes friend @daveks, lately we have many cases of "street chickens" here :))... People have started raising them in homes again because beef and chicken for sale are very expensive in the supplies... So we are having a "return of the chickens to the houses (and to the streets, as I see)"... This is a little crazy town, I admit!... ;)

Thank you very much for stopping by and visiting, I am very honored!...

May your voting power return soon and strong! :))... "May the force be with you" (awww... love that Star Wars phrase) :))

Hugs!... And nice day!

That chicken was also a little confused.

It's good that your fellow countrymen feel such joy with the arrival of Christmas. Your photos are excellent as always... and the dog doesn't show the chicken's confusion, but he is speechless. 😂

Everyone loves these street chickens!... I'll aim to make a "street chicken post" hahaha :))...

Yes, people here have chosen to do "catharsis" with the Christmas days... It's good, especially if you take into account that they spend almost the entire year trying to barely survive in many cases...

Thank you very much for stopping by and appreciating my work!... A hug and blessings for you and your close people @nanixxx friend!

Hahahahaha... a chicken post, how funny! Huge hugs and lots of health and blessings to you and your family.

@jlinaresp I really like the photo of the fruit and vegetable seller.

It's a "valuable and risky" photo... The owner of the kiosk (that huge guy with his back turned) hates photos!!! he ha ha ha :)) ...I must be crazy to risk it! ...Thank you for stopping by and appreciating @cyboule friend! :))
