Here's Lauren again, from our latest shoot last weekend....
Shot in an abandoned house / factory in South Yorkshire, it was the perfect backdrop for the ideas that I had in my head...
I've long had a thing about beauty and/or vulnerability in a decayed location. And so this place was ideal..
During lockdown, I bought some angel wings, 2 sets, one black one white.... The original shoot that they were destined to be used in looks to be dead in the water as the Model has unfortunately ceased modelling, at least for now.
So, I decided it was time to use them both, on 2 different shoots with 2 very different models...
Shot using mainly natural light with a little fill light from one of my LED panels, the editing has been pretty rapid so far, slight skin clean-ups and removal of the straps which hold the wings onto the model.
Of course, the fractal filter made an appearance during the shoot, I attempted to auto-censor this one, but shooting with a 70-200 on the camera made it a little hard to be precise.. be reyt..
Lauren's a bit of a posing machine.... no direction needed, no reminding her to point her toes and the triangles arrive effortlessly.. She's a delight to work with... She said she was off it a bit on this shoot... god knows where!!? we've plenty of keepers and I'm more than happy with what we have in the can..

cheers.. i aimed for it to blur out genitals but didnt quite nail it.... still ikes the effect so kept the image and will spoil it for zuckerbergs networks

Those are pretty great. I think the idea of using an abandoned building for the angel was really neat.
The fractal turned out awesome. She's an angel! And it looks like she's beginning to materialise for some time on earth. These are called 'happy mistakes', yes? Love it.
