A small forest river in a winter setting

Hello everyone!

In one of my previous entries there was already a large frozen river, now there is a small forest river in a winter setting. Although I am close to it and have been over it several times with the camera to take pictures, it is still a challenge for me to take good frames. In this case, to make the photos more interesting, I used a tripod and a long exposure time to blur the water. In such conditions, you can get a little cold, but the photos can compensate for this inconvenience.

W jednym z moich poprzednich wpisów była już duża zamrożona rzeka, teraz jest mała leśna rzeczka w zimowej oprawie. Chociaż mam do niej blisko i byłem nad nią kilka razy z aparatem zrobić zdjęcia, to nadal jest dla mnie wyzwaniem aby zrobić dobre kadry. W tym przypadku aby zdjęcia były ciekawsze użyłem statywu i długiego czasu naświetlania dla rozmycia wody. W takich warunkach można trochę zmarznąć, ale zdjęcia potrafią taką niedogodność wynagrodzić.

Wow, the frozen river and ice surely look amazing in black and white, like being from another planet.

Those look fantastic! The long exposure really worked well. Hopefully you didn't get too cold, and had a hot drink to help you through!

My fingers got cold the most, because I don't have good gloves in which I can operate the camera. But it wasn't so bad.
