You know, I have a lot of different random photographs that are associated with my hometown (Uzhgorod) and the cities that I was lucky enough to visit. But! They are just stored on my hard drive. It's time to fix this.
Today I want to show you some interesting shots from my hometown, which in black and white turned out to be even more interesting than in the original color. Plus, for some photos, there will be an explanation of what exactly is shown there and where it is.
Augustyn Voloshyna Street is a street located in the center of Uzhhorod, near the embankment of the Uzh River. Many 19th century buildings have been preserved on this street, as well as the Faculty of Physics of Uzhhorod National University. This is one of the richest architectural and historical monuments of Uzhhorod.
Uzhhorod Exaltation of the Holy Cross Greek Catholic Cathedral is the main Greek Catholic church in Uzhhorod and the residence of Mukachevo bishops. The church is dedicated to the Exaltation of the Cross, an architectural monument of national importance. The cathedral was laid in 1640.

Uzhhorod railway station. The station was opened on August 28, 1872, as part of the Uzhhorod-Chop railway, thanks to which Uzhhorod immediately received connections with Vienna and Budapest.
