A TALE OF MATRIMONY - #monomad

in Black And Whitelast year

Weddings are amazing! There's just something about seeing two people in love exchange marriage vows that makes every photo taken a treasure. And, when the wedding is photographed by a professional photographer like myself, it only makes the experience much more special. I believe that wedding photography is more than just capturing images of the day itself; it's about preserving the memories of every beautiful moment as it unfolds in front of your eyes. Nonetheless, a wedding will not be complete if an exclusive photo session is not organized for the couple.

Prior to starting a wedding shoot, one has to ensure that both bride and groom are comfortable with you. It's often the main element that distinguishes one photographer from another. Every photographer attests to the fact that, during a photo session, the best pictures are often reserved at the last moments of the session. That's the moment both client and subject have bonded most.

Everyone had a default reset pose. As a photographer, I always lean to use one's natural default pose when I'm shooting a wedding. A default reset pose is a pose one is used to and on a normal day will use in taking a picture. We all have a familiar pose that runs through our entire pictures. And that's the pose I am talking about.

Once default reset pose pictures are taken, i move on to direct the client to take much more awesome pictures. Clients often don't know what to do with their extremities. They don't know what to do with their hands and legs. The placement of the hand and legs tells a lot about the picture.

Intimacy in a picture is depicted by touch and for a wedding photoshoot, that's what one wants to carry across. The couples themselves might not know where to touch and where not to touch. Touching a mans biceps for instance depicts submission and trust to lead whiles touching the stomach of a bride can easily look like a maternity shoot. I carefully directed these clients in order to obtain these gems of a picture.

Finally i will talk about the direction of sight. It means everything in a photography. Where the subject is looking towards . Nonetheless, nothing is stack in stone when it comes to photography. Hope to see how someone else will walk through these photographs.

Finally, i present to you two of the photographers who captured the entire wedding. On the far left is Mr. Eric Anadem. He directed all these beautiful shots. To the far right is myself, @tj4real. I took all the pictures and retouched them. There is a third photographer @azantilowgod. He captured this exact image.
