MONOMAD | A thrush in the hand

Hello, friends! This morning, a bird flew full speed into the large glass door leading to the terrace. I thought it might have broken its neck or injured itself somehow, but it seemed to be fine, as it shakily took off and flew away. This reminded me of a similar incident this summer when the terrace door was always open, and a thrush flew into the kitchen. At that time, no one was inside, so the poor bird was almost eaten by my cat. Fortunately, I heard the thrush's cries from the yard and ran to see what had happened. The thrush was fine; our cat was just playing with it, though the bird left quite a few feathers on the floor and windowsills. It had no injuries, so I simply tossed it into the air, and it flew away.	Привіт, друзі! Сьогодні вранці велике скло дверей, що виходять на терасу, з розгону залетіла пташка і вдарилася. Я подумав, що вона зламала собі шию чи можливо пошкодила собі щось інше, але схоже з цією пташкою було все гаразд, бо вона, хоч і невпевнено, але здійнялася у повітря і полетіла кудись. А я згадав схожий випадок цього літа, коли двері на терасу були відкриті постійно і тоді дрізд просто залетів усередину кухні-студії. В той час нікого не було всередині, то ж бідолашну пташку ледь не з'їла моя кішка. На щастя я почув крики нещасного дрозда здвору і прибіг подивитися, що сталося. З дроздом було все гаразд, наша кішка просто з ним гралася, хоча на підлозі та підвікрннях пташка залишила чимало пір'я. Але ран вона не мала, то ж я просто підкинув дрозда у повітря і він полетів.
