I feel like such a fancy content creator...

I have one of those tiny microphones that 'serious' creators seem to use for all their shorts and tiktok videos. Like I said, I feel very fancy lol

Let me know how it sounds :)

After reading 'Question Everything' by Fitzroy Anderson, I really wanted to sharpen my faith walk. And I think we can all do that by practicing the attitude of gratitude. Yeah that sounds like some personal development mumbo jumbo, but it's most definitely something we should all practice.

Instead of treating God like a genie in a bottle, let's thank Him for everything He provides that we seem to always take for granted...

I hope you enjoy the talk.

Hey, you sound great! the little mic is a keeper.

As a non-believer, I have many criticisms... but in general, Gratitude seems like the one and true way to say "you know what's best for me" and "I notice all the small ways in which you make life better".

God, if there is such a being, supposedly has a plan for each of his children, and asking for anything (especially personal) is indeed like using God as a genie, or at least it signals that his plan is 'not good enough' - that one must plead with him to change his plans in one's favor.

Therefore, gratitude, sends a message of acceptance, and appreciation for the role that he has bestowed on you.

Do I understand it fairly?

Yeah, He does have plans. And if we live according to His will (the bible) we are on the right path. Problem is, we're born sinners so we fail almost daily...If not hourly lol

Along the way, He still blesses us with so many gifts. Life, health, food, family, things we take for granted. So it's always important to be thankful as we live this life. It's not promised, so I try to remain in a state of gratitude and praise.

As a non-believer, I have many criticisms

Completely understand that. I was never raised in a church, was pretty much as secular as it comes. The 'church' has a lot of cleaning up to do and it does deserve a TON of criticism.
