THE LESSON IN THE SHEEP

"aka strong head", is what the writer of that note above goes by. The phrase "strong head" in her country Nigeria, refers to stubborness. Well, that note above shows it, she questions our faith right there, no she even mocks it somewhat even. It's our call as believers to bring clarity to such people as God leads you.

I replied to her something like this:

A part of your body called, the tongue, is so soft and so tender. Tissues in your body like the heart, liver, stomach are so very tender to the touch, yet so very important.

You tongue doesn't need to be as hard as your collar-bone to prove how mightily useful or deadly it can be through crafting words. Words can tear down a whole country!

What's the point? God has always turned what men call foolish or weak to be something strong or wise. The lowly sheep is the best heart-posture to follow Jesus Christ. You must helplessly surrender to Him, like a sheep does to a shepherd, to be counted as one who shares His glory or one who seats with Him.

Okay, in Nigeria, just the presence of a soldier in uniform jerks people into oder. Nobody wants to annoy the soldier. But that soldier is like a zombie, when it comes to how he works. He is trained to even obey before complaining or suggesting. A soldier was brought before his superior after a mission failed; actually they wholly didn't follow the orders given them. In attempting to explain why the mission failed, the junior used the phrase, "I think". Instantly the superior slapped him and yelled at him saying, "who are you to say, 'you think', we think for you here!"

So a soldier is trained to do as instructed, there's no room to rationalise or do it his own way. That's their call, whether it be the army or navy.

You see but what people rever and admire is, the authority they wield, their white uniforms, their well polished shoes, their dexterity; they hardly see that they are like sheep, like robots who do only as instructed. So ironical, a lot of folks don't like to be controlled like a robot, but they admire the soldier.

It takes a man under authority, to exercise authority. By the way, Jesus Christ is the Lord of Hosts, meaning the military commander of all heaven's army.

A resounding symbol of submission is the animal called, the sheep. And God wants us to be as sheep, in relation to following Christ Jesusuntitled.gif. He must lead and I have no choice but to follow, for He knows the best way. He's the only wise God.
