Speaking of today's celebration, Mabon, in last night's post, I realized from your reactions that many people weren't familiar with it.
So I assume, except for some exceptions, that you probably aren't familiar with the others either.
So today, I'm presenting the wheel of life, without going into too much detail, since I'd like to do an explanatory post for each Sabbat at the appropriate times.
The order of the wheel is important; it represents the seasons. We start with the beginning of the cycle, which is necessarily also the end of the cycle, YULE, you probably know it better as Christmas...
In the post about it, I'll even explain the origin of the Yule log 🎄 or the Christmas tree.
Then, at the beginning of February, we have Imbolc, celebrating the end of winter... I'll explain the name, which refers to sheep...
Ostara then comes for Spring and fertility, the time of planting... It is celebrated between March 20th and 23rd... It's also my birthday.. 🎂
Beltane, April 30th or May 1st, between the end of winter and the summer solstice, marks the beginning of the warmer weather. You've probably seen rites surrounding Beltane, often associated with large fires...
Litha, the summer solstice, a great tribute to the sun. June 21st.
Lughnasadh or Lammas, depending on the traditions, at the beginning of August marks the beginning of the harvest.
Then Mabon, between September 20th and 23rd, reminds us of the storage at the end of the harvest, and a reason to rejoice in the stocks rebuilt for the year.
To finish with the very famous Samhain, also called Halloween, where we remember the dearly departed, since the veil between the two worlds is thinner... October 31st.
As noted in yesterday's post, I think, and above, I intend to write an explanatory post for each Sabbat. I hope many of you will read and comment on them.

En parlant de la fête de ce jour, Mabon, sur le post d'hier soir, je me suis aperçu, par vos réactions, que beaucoup ne connaissaient pas cette fête.
Je suppose donc à part quelques exceptions, qu'il est probable que vous ne connaissiez pas les autres non plus.
Donc aujourd'hui, je vous présente la roue de la vie, sans trop détailler, puisque j'aimerais faire un post explicatif par Sabbat aux périodes adéquates.
L'ordre de la roue est importante, elle représente les saisons, on commence par le début du cycle, qui en est forcément la fin également, YULE, vous la connaissez mieux sous le nom de Noël...
Dans le post qui en parlera je vous expliquerai même l'origine de la buche de Noël 🎄ou du sapin.
Ensuite, début février, on a Imbolc, on célèbre la fin de l'hiver... Je vous expliquerai le nom, en rapport aux brebis...
Ostara vient ensuite pour le Printemps et la fertilité, le moment des plantations ... Elle se fête entre le 20 et 23 mars ... Jour de mon anniversaire aussi ... 🎂
Beltane, 30 avril ou 1er mai, entre la sortie de l'hiver et le solstice d'été, on marque le début des beaux jours. Vous avez surement vu des rites concernant Beltane, souvent associés à de grands feux...
Litha, le solstice d'été, un grand hommage au soleil. 21 Juin.
Lughnasadh ou lammas selon les cultures, début aout sonne le début des récoltes.
Ensuite Mabon, rappelle le stockage en fin de moissons, et de quoi se réjouir des stocks reconstruits pour l'année, entre le 20 et 23 septembre.
Pour finir avec le très célèbre Samhain, aussi appelé Halloween, où l'on se souvient des chers disparus, vu que le voile entre les deux mondes et le plus fin... 31 Octobre.
Comme noté dans le post d'hier, il me semble, et ci-dessus, je compte bien vous faire un post explicatif par Sabbat. En espérant que vous serez nombreux à les lire et les commenter.
