Hello, everyone! Welcome to my blog!!

Today, I'm going to teach you how you can make A's as a student with ease. If you've ever wondered how your classmates or course mates make A's in their results constantly while you struggle to make even B, relax and read this article because it is just for you.

Introduction

First of all before I start, I will like to introduce myself to you guys! My name is Ike Ifeanyi Franklin, a first class graduate of computer science and informatics. I'm into software engineering, data analysis, research works, and article writing. What I'm about to share with you is exactly what I did to achieve my honor during my undergraduate studies. I urge you to follow along with this tutorial so that you won't miss any bit of the information. Alright, having said much, let's dive in...

How do I make A's?

I know this question may be one of the questions you're asking yourself now, lol... don't worry I have answers to that question!!!

Making A's is not that difficult as you think in any educational settings. People has been making A's before now, and they don't have two heads, they have one head as you. So now, another question is what do they do different?

They do something different you're not going. You just have to discover it and follow along. I will reveal substantial part of these things they do to you in the steps below:๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘‡

  1. Have Grit and Growth mindset: The truth is, before you can start making A's in school, you have to develop passion for reading and learning. You won't make A's if you don't love reading and learning. Grit and growth mindset are both concepts related to personal development and achieving success. While they are distinct concepts, they share common elements and can often complement each other.
    What is Grit?
Grit refers to a combination of passion, perseverance, and resilience towards long-term goals. It is the ability to maintain effort and interest over an extended period despite facing obstacles, setbacks, and failures. Gritty individuals demonstrate a strong work ethic, determination, and a willingness to overcome challenges in the pursuit of their objectives. They view setbacks as temporary roadblocks and use them as opportunities for learning and growth. Grit is often associated with achieving high levels of success in various domains, including academics, sports, and professional careers.
    What is Growth Mindset?
Growth mindset is a term coined by psychologist Carol Dweck to describe the belief that one's abilities and intelligence can be developed and improved through effort, practice, and learning. Individuals with a growth mindset embrace challenges, persist in the face of setbacks, and see failures as opportunities for growth. They believe that their talents and skills are not fixed traits but can be cultivated through dedication and a willingness to learn. This mindset fosters a love for learning, resilience, and a belief in the power of effort to achieve success.
Grit and Growth mindset are the very first things you need to develop before you can think of making A's in school. Your mates that are successful in school have long developed this passion and perseverance to thrive in the midst of adversities together with their efforts. Thanks you discovered it today!

  2. Normalize taking down notes in class: It may be easier to understand something in class but also easier for you to forget if you don't take down notes. I have heard some of my friends say that they evenly understand things while the lecturer or the teacher as the case may be is teaching in the classroom. It may be true, but I bet you, if you don't take notes down, you're likely prone to forget so easily before 3 days.

  3. Ask questions: Yes! asking questions in class cannot be overlooked. They play a vital role in your academic success. I bet you that anything you asked in question and got explanation for that, you're not forgetting it anytime soon. If you have the phobia of asking question in class directly to the lecturer, you can do that after class to your classmate or course mate. This is tested and confirmed! It works... When I was still a student, I don't ask question in class but rather I ask my fellow student who understands it more, and I must tell you solemnly - that is the one I understand easily, and it is long lasting than the lecturers own.

  4. Visit the Library always: Library are so valuable that they provide you with handful of textbooks that are very costly for you to afford. Don't underestimate the power of going to library often. Library is also a quiet place that is conducive for you to ready and study. Leverage on the free textbooks inside the library and grab the information while you still have the time. According to the author of this article, "Students that go to library tends to perform well in class than students that do not". My advice to you today is to change your culture from not visiting the library to visiting the library. Do this and you won't regret it!

  5. Read your books always to keep refreshing your memory: Don't just relax, keep reading the concepts you learned in class over and over again. Go to night class and form a reading group. Select your friends who will impact in your academic life positively. Abstain from bad friends who doesn't have value for education. The truth is that some people didn't come to learn, they came to flex life and deceive others. They want to explore the four walls of the university. Don't follow such people. Discover them on time and avoid them! Go for those students with the same interest as you. You won't regret it!!!

  6. Attend tutorials or private lessons: This is very helpful in your academic career. Tutorials will help break concepts down for you, concepts you were finding difficult to understand in class. Using myself as a case study; I attended tutorials alot and that impacted my result positively.

Finally: Prepare yourself always for tests and exams. Memorize on what you've read so far to ensure total remembrance on the information contained in your brain. Write fast in test or exams to beat time. Always write something in exams, don't ever submit a blank sheet. Submitting a blank will even make things worse for you because even when the lecturer tries to help you, he/she won't find a reason to do that.

I believe and hoped that you read this article to the end, if you did, Congratulations!!! Please endeavor to read it again and again to assimilate every information you can hold onto. Thanks and God bless you!

This is great knowledge. I've been in school and never have I ever realized this could have helped. The is very much for sharing with us

Thank you very much my brother for understanding! These are important for making A's

I find this very helpful. If I have the opportunity to go back to school, I will definitely apply all these. But first, I have a kid struggling with her courses. So I am sure she will find this piece helpful too, coming from someone who made first class. That would encourage her more. Thanks

Yes, I can be a role model to your child. I want her to also make first class in her academic journey. How old is she and which course is she studying in school?

Wow, I already gave her your content I reblogged . She read it and heaved a sigh. I guess she understood she has more work to do. I just need her to love studying . If I wake her to go study, she will. But if I don't, she doesn't have the will power to befriend her books yet. She is pushed to study. She is 14yrs. She is an Art student.

Wow! She will change under my mentorship

This is really impactful but no matter how hard I try I can't find myself going for night classes. It's been really difficult because of fear that we may get attacked by some bad boys. All in all, I read at home and do well but I really need to cultivate the habit of continuous reading and this beautiful article of yours just reminded me of that goal. I'll definitely put it in practice as we just resumed for the semester. Thanks for sharing

It is also good reading at home if you found it conducive for yourself. The reason why I prefer night class is because it gets me motivated to read more on seeing my fellow students reading. Again, seeing my bed while reading at home makes me to fall asleep easily than reading inside the campus

I totally understand but I dare not read in bed. I have a study table at home

Memorize on what you've read so far to ensure total remembrance on the information contained in your brain.

True, but it is still better if you also get familiarized and fully comprehended your lessons by watching tutorials as you mentioned. For example, memorization is not the only key to pass to survive in our major subject, which is accounting. Being familiar with the practice use of accounting formulas is better than memorizing it alone. That's what I learned after seeing my friend struggled in accounting because she didn't understand the whole concept๐Ÿฅฒ

Yes, I totally agree with you. Theoretical concepts align more fitly when combined with practical. Thanks for pointing this out so that others can add it to their knowledge.
